Saint's P.O.V.

As few months passed by, our life again was running on the normal track. He was his normal bright self again and so was I. Moon started with her 4th grade in her school and everything was going peacefully.

Nong lay graduated from the university and was working as an intern at one of my old friend's companies. She has recently moved in 15 mins away from here with Nong Champoo. She's still used to drop off Moon home after her school and swimming classes.

Upon waking up, I was casually strolling along the hall carpet while sipping on my coffee, when I got a reminder on my phone. It was Moon's birthday in three days. I still couldn't believe that my little monkey is turning nine this year. Kids grow so fast. I still remember how we used to wish her at midnight and spend the entire day entertaining her on this day, and the family dance ritual at midnight. But after Alice's death, the ritual stopped. We instead visit Alice every year on this day, she misses her so much.

Today was the day when Perth moves in. Yes, I finally had the guts to ask this 'boyfriend' of mine to move in with me. But when he broke that news to Sammy, while we were having breakfast. Her reply came with a smug smile on her lips and made me choke on the eggs and our cheeks flushed red in embarrassment.

Flashback...

Just after breakfast...

"Aa... Sammy, I'll be moving in with him next week", he said casually. I expected a neutral reaction accompanied by some teasing but what came next was surprising. "Yes finally!! Now I can enjoy my midnight snack peacefully", she said making us confused. "I guess you forgot that this bungalow came with only one soundproof room and that's mine", she added and that's when the realization hit me.

Is she talking about...?
Noo.. Those talks were not meant to be heard by anyone.

My embarrassed eyes found his just to see his eyes widened and ear became red in realization.

" I hope your room is the soundproof one there, I don't want Moon's innocent ears to hear something that unholy," she said adding to our embarrassment.

Ohh, Lord!!! Just pick me up right now.

As today was Sunday, Moon and I decided to help him in moving some stuff here. When we reached there all the bags were already packed and placed in the living room and he was busy preparing the lunch for us. This man really can cook.

As soon as Moon saw him she left my hand and ran towards him and he picked her up midway. Walking towards the kitchen, after the much-awaited kiss on his cheeks, he placed her on the kitchen counter. Perth was someone she really adored.

"So Miss. Moon would you like to help me with lunch?", he asked her while bending down to get the baby blue apron he bought for her the other day. And... I can't help but admire the piece of art in front of me. Those squats and sit-ups really paid off. I mean just look at that ass. I guess I should start workout too. He always keeps advising me to start it but my lazy ass won't wake up that early.

"Like what you see huh?" he asked grinning from ear to ear startling me . "I'll help too", I said trying to avoid his eyes and reaching for the apron which was kept on the counter. He walked towards me and stopping me from moving and whispered in my ears, "If you don't want Moon to see something inappropriate, then fix that face of yours". I gulped visibly at his comment and pushed him away. I remember last the I helped him with dinner, we ended up doing it on this very kitchen counter. Thank god it was Sammy's night shift, and he closed the door this time.
