"It's finally good to be back and have these hang outs with you guys." Brandon and I decided to get with the group so he'd show them his new car. We were really happy for him. Emily was the happiest no doubt there.
"We missed you too Darin" Angelina said with her chirpy voice and I smiled softly.
"Guys, before I forget and since all of us are here, I'd like us to look into something." Bryce said getting our attention. He's more of the quiet one. Not too quiet but just not super crazy and wild like us. "Our yearly trips."
"What about them?" Tristan asked. This one is the wildest of us all. He was such a player until he met sweet Amira. It's still a mystery how she managed to change him for the better.
"We're eight. Meaning each cycle takes 8 years and I don't know about you guys but I'm not waiting 8 years to go to Dubai." We all laughed. It's true though. When it was only the four of us it was easier to look forward to it but now it's a long wait.
"Thank you Bryce for that. I have been meaning to bring it to the table too. We have a cut it down to months." Emily said.
"Okay how many months then?" Candice asked. I looked at her and realised her hair had grown a bit. She's still pretty.
"Maybe twice a year?" Brandon said.
"It's still too long. I don't know about you guys but I feel like we should visit them all each year. I mean we're growing up some of us won't want to take some time off to party with friends to far places. It's too immature isn't it?" Angelina said that last part looking at Candice. She is still upset about what Candice said to her I guess.
Flashback
"You need to explain right now why you think you had the right to lie to us." Angelina said throwing her bag on her seat next to Candice. First of all she's late and secondly what is she angry about?
"What are you talking about?" Candice is obviously confused.
"You lied to us about being with Darin" oh shit. How the hell did this girl find out.
"Okay I can explain. It's not Candice's fault it's mine." I had to defend her since I fake broke up with her because of Tamara. I'm not with her fine but I thought we were going somewhere and I didn't want to hide her anymore. Well that's until a week ago when she said she hates me.
"Don't defend her. I know very well she came to you and begged you to lie to us. You guys never dated. All those stupid fake stories you told us about your dates and......."
"Can you just shut up" Candice cut in. Uh oh it's about to get ugly. I'm surprised at how quiet the others are. "If I fuck Darin or not is none of your goddamn business." The whole group was shocked. Candice never loses her cool.
"If you lie to us then it is. We're friends we're not supposed to lie to each other."
"Oh really we're not supposed to lie to each other? Look who has the nerve to say that. Didn't you lie to me, your so called best friend? You said you were happy for us being together while you knew very well you wanted to bang him every chance you get?" wait what? "You thought I bought your bullshit? I could see every time you looked at him and wished you were the one he was kissing and holding hands with." Angelina was frozen right now. So she really wants me? Wow.
"Listen here Angelina I don't have time for your pettiness. The only reason you're angry is because you think I wasted your time when all that time we were faking the relationship you could have seduced Darin and gotten him for yourself." She turned to us. "Yeah it's true. Darin and I were never a couple. I'm in love with Matt. He's my real boyfriend. I only did that cause everyone here knows how my parents are about class and all that bullshit." She took a deep breath.
