Angelina's POV
"Hey Angie wait!" I heard Candice calling my name as I was about to head out of the main door. After talking to Tamara the other day I can't stop thinking about what she said. She's bi? Damn! plus she's cute. No no no no no no Angelina she's with Darin stop that. I really need to take this walk to clear my head. Although she is right about one thing. I should let the crew know.
"Hey" she was almost out of breath since she had to run a bit.
"Where are you going?" Candice asking where I'm going? That's weird. The fact that she's talking to me is scary on it's own.
"Taking a walk why?" She grabbed my hand and started walking. What's going on with her? "Candice where are you taking me?"
"We're walking aren't we?" I snorted.
We walked silently until we reached the beach. It's near so it didn't take that long.
"Angie I want to apologize" as bestfriends she'd call me Angie and I'd call her Candie. I don't remember the last time she called me that.
"What for?" She stopped walking.
"For blurting out you have a crush on Darin in front of everyone. Ever since Bryce reminded me how much of a great person you are I've been feeling guilty. For someone who hates immaturity it was super immature of me to say it like that." I looked at her sincere face. She's really guilty.
"Why do think you need to apologise? You believe I want Darin don't you? That I'm a backstabber?" She looked very sad hearing me say it back to her.
"Angelina I know you. When you don't like someone you just don't even pretend but these past few days you've gotten really close to Tamara. I've been watching the two of you and I saw how happy you are with her now. Just like you and I used to be. I realised that can only mean one thing. I jumped to conclusions, I never gave you the chance to explain anything. You must have explained to her something I don't know."
"You're right you jumped to conclusions Candice. That thing faded a long time ago but you didn't let me explain. You just freaking got mad and never talked to me again." I continued walking.
"You don't love him anymore?" She said catching up.
"Candice I never loved Darin it was just a silly crush, he's not my type anyway that's why it only lasted for like a few days." She looked at me surprised.
"Wait, you mean you no longer want him?" Her voice so soft.
"Yes or any other guy for that matter." I said looking at the beach. The sun was already setting.
"What does that mean?" I sighed.
"Tamara was right it's no use not telling you guys. You're all my friends and you deserve to know." She looked confused.
"Not telling us what?" I motioned for her to sit down.
"Promise you'll not get mad at me for not telling you earlier?" She nodded. "Good. Well after you discovered my secret I was already over the guy. I didn't want to ruin your relationship so that's why I didn't tell you anything before you found out." She nodded in understanding. "Remember those women crushes we'd talk about in sleepovers?" She giggled
"Yeah mine would always be celebrities cause you know we all wanna be like them right?" I let out a chuckle.
"Well for me it was different. Did you ever notice I didn't count celebrities in my list?"
"Yup you'd always be like you'll only count them if we were making a celebrity crush list" I giggled and nodded.
"Well it's because those crushes I would always name were my real life crushes aaaaaannnnddd one is my ex now." I've never seen her eyes so wide.
