I woke up this morning and realized Jasper  wasn't lying next to me. I sat up on the couch and figured that Jasper was making breakfast. I could smell the delicious food all the way to the living room. Jasper was really good at cooking, you could say he's perfect husband material. I made my way to the kitchen where I found Jasper making eggs and bacon. I watched him carefully, admiring his every move. He loved cooking, it was always his passion. Every time I was sick Jasper would make me soup and take care of me as if I was his little sister. I am so thankful I have him in my life.

Maybe I was looking at him for too long to realize him staring at me with the biggest smile.

„Good morning princess" he said.

„Good morning" I smiled.

You are probably wondering why he gave this nickname. It's quite simple, when we were younger we always played prince's and princesses. We had our own kingdom made out of pillows and blankets. We even went as far as making fake rings out of wood and paper, promising each other that we would stay together forever. I remember the stuffed animals in my room being the guests at our wedding. It's interesting how kids minds work. This memory is one of my favorites. It will stay in my heart for a very long time.

„It looks like you are having a good morning" Jasper said while looking at me.

„It's always good when I'm with you" I said with a smile on my face.

I didn't even realize I was smiling from ear to ear. Every time I think of a memory with him I have to smile because I'm so happy to have him by my side. He's always there when I need him.

„It smells so good here, my stomach is already rumbling" my mom said while walking down the stairs.

She was half asleep, but it looks like the smell of good food woke her up pretty quickly. Yesterday Jasper and I fell asleep and I didn't even notice when my mom came home.

„Good morning mom" I said.

„Good morning Mrs. Smith" he said.

„Good morning kids" she said with a smile on her face. She was fixing her hair while walking towards us because she looked like she got dragged through a forest.

My mom and Jasper were always close and never had a problem with each other. I mean she even trust's him more than me.

„When did you get home yesterday? I didn't hear you unlocking the door" I asked while prepping the table.

„I think around 10 p.m, I'm not sure though. I was fairly surprised when I saw you too cuddling together on the couch'' She said laughing.

„Mom it's not what you think..." I tried ridding her of the thoughts she had in her head right now. I know she thinks Jasper and I are more than friends, but it's not like that.

„I took some photos of you guys while you were sleeping, you look so cute in them! You guys grew up too fast, it makes my heartache seeing you so big" she said with a sad look on her face.

„You took photos of us sleeping?" I asked with  an angry tone.

„I mean you were so cute I have to document how my daughter and her best friend are growing up" she said. The way she said the word best friend didn't sound too convincing.

I sighed.

„Delete them please" I said with a serious voice.

„They are memories Ria" she said with a cute facial expression. It was as if she was begging me to not make her delete it.
