My steps were clear, I needed to find Zero and ask what his problem was. It was the end of the last lesson, and I prayed that I would find him at the lockers. I ran through all the hallways as fast as I could, and I'm not talking about how many students I bumped into on the way and was afraid that I would taste the cold hard ground.
When I finally got to the lockers, I saw Chloe leaning against them and she and Zero were eating each other's faces off. Maybe I should have just left it alone and left, but I don't want Zero to then tell me that I owe him money, so I had to clear things up. I still have time for the school to cancel my trip and he could get his money back.
„We need to talk" I said loudly and clearly even though who knows if he heard me over Chloe's moans.
Zero pulled away from Chloe and looked at me as if he had been angry that I just interrupted him.
„Are you blind or can't you see we're doing something here?" Chloe was killing me with her gaze. Her lips were red, Zero probably sucked the life out of them.
A few questions came to my mind, but the main one was why Chloe and the other one have to do these disgusting things at school? Isn't a bed intended for this and not the lockers used by hundreds of other students who are at our school.
"I'll be back soon, darling give me a few minutes" Zero said, his gaze fixed on me as if he were ready to kill me right in front of Chloe.
"But hurry up" her gaze was sad but at the same time angry. As if she was angry that he was leaving and keeping her waiting.
I know Chloe isn't the type of person to wait for someone, and her patience is really small, so I wanted to sort things out with Zero as soon as possible so that Chloe wouldn't pull all my hair out the next time she saw me.
Our steps led us I don't know where, the hallways were already empty since almost all the students had already left. I didn't want anyone to hear our conversation, so I decided to go to the empty classroom with the books we were in before. The memories came rushing back and my body went cold.
It was quite dark in the room as the sun was slowly setting and it was snowing outside, the atmosphere was as if we were in horror movie and I am the victim who will soon see the light.
"Are you sure you want to just talk or are you trying to seduce me?" the smile on his face was smug, and I can only imagine what thoughts went through his mind, even though I wasn't sure if they were from his perverse side or the psychotic side.
I slowly turned to him and stepped closer, I had never realized how tall he was before and how small my body was compared to his.
„I want you to go to the teacher...tell her that paying the trip for me was a mistake" I said.
„Why would I do that?" he looked angry because I was ordering him around.
„I'm not going on the trip, isn't that clear enough?" I said.
„Listen here pancake, you will go to that ski trip, if you're not willing to go there I would gladly kill you right here and now" I could see the desire to kill me in his eyes, and i felt like the room was colder than ever.
„I want to go on that trip, but I don't want to owe you anything" my voice was quiet as if I couldn't speak. Well, when you're standing in a dark room with a murderer, you feel helpless.
„You think I paid for you because I felt sorry? Not to burst your bubble or anything but that's far from the truth" he laughed.
„Then why?" I asked.
