Sign of times
Hailee stepped into the lonely apartment and took off her shoes. She was living alone, a one bedroom apartment with a tiny living room and kitchen. One bathroom and a large window in the living room. It was fine. The apartment itself had heavy security and her flat was on the top floor.
She could look out the large glass window and see all the city lights and traffic. It was like her own little birds nest. All alone and secluded.
After everything, she was single again, and she felt once again lonely. Her eyes closed as she flopped onto her couch, a pillow falling off as she did so.
Hailee was single, yet she had met her soulmate and had actually known him for what seemed like years now. Despite this, she couldn't help feel blocked still. As if there was still a large brick that she was chained to.
She had ignored what Hyeok had told her to do and kept her and Mark's connection a secret, deciding not to jeopardize his career. She felt good about the decision, however Hyeok was slightly enraged by it.
She had picked up a few things about Hyeok. He was a good manager for one. He knew what he was doing and knew what he was talking about. He was also somewhat of a second father to Hailee since she had left her home country.
Secondly, he was conceited. He cared about Hailee's career, but Hailee's career was also his. Whatever happened to her happened to him. Therefore making him worry even more about what she was doing.
Lastly, he hated the Idol industry. Hated how it was made, how it was run, and how the idols were treated. She respected that to a certain degree, but she had also learned that he also hated some of the idols as well. Some were for respectable reasons, but then he would often carry that indifference to others.
She opened her eyes when she felt a tingle on her arm. Looking down she stared blankly at it.
'i want 2 talk.'
