Chill Baby, Let Them Hate
Hailee was, unfortunately, not being styled by Hayun at the moment.
An older woman had a set of paints, black and white combined, and had decided it was best to do a more body positive set.
This included sheer clothes, natural makeup, no shoes, no jewelry, and Hailee's hair was to be completely down and wavy. No contacts either, which was a slight problem as she couldn't see shit.
"Almost done sweet heart," the elderly woman said and finished.
Hailee squinted at the mirror and saw tiny detailed flowers and vines going over her arms, korean designs mixing into the design. A lose white tank top was over the designs, flowing and showing of the intricate details.
"Ready Ms. Choi," the photographer said, his voice upbeat and clearly happy to be there.
She nodded and went onto the set.
A cream colored backdrop and a wooden box was all that was there. Hailee took a seat and began to pose, showing off the ink on her skin.
Several times they had to retouch it.
Finally she was done, and as she went over her photos she smiled.
This was no doubt her best shoot.
She went back to wipe the ink off, the black and white ink smearing so she received permission to leave the set to wash it off with water.
Unfortunately when she came back she was met with... quite the sight.
"Woah just because you're famous doesn't mean you can simply burst into a set," Hyori said standing up to confront the male who had just barged into the room.
Hailee quickly recognized him as Mark Lee, and quickly went to hide. What he was doing here confused her, but it couldn't be that good if he was getting yelled at.
"Did you guys shoot with ink," he said resisting leaving.
"Yes," the photographer, Hailee had later learned was named Hyungwoo.
"But that's not important you're invading on business," Hyeok interrupted, "I'm going to ask you to leave."
"Where's the other photographer," Mark called out as he started getting escorted out.
"It was just me," Hyungwoo said in confusion.
"Did you put the ink on you?"
"No only the model."
Mark's face fell, anger and confusion taking over him.
Hailee was waiting for him to leave, but quickly changed her mind.
Just to make sure, she grabbed the ink and dipped her finger in before smearing it on her cheek.
Peeking out from behind the makeup section she saw a smear of black ink spread across Mark's cheek.
She quickly spun back around behind the counter.
That meant...
Mark rejected her.
This meant...
Mark was her soulmate.
