Hailee walked back into her apartment, Jaehyeon on the couch with his pajamas already on.

"Hailee you're home already," he said smiling and standing, "everything ok?"

"Yeah perfectly fine," she said taking off her coat and hanging it on the coat rack.

"That's great," he said, "do you want me to make something or maybe we can go out on a date... I'll change-"

"Jaehyeon," she said, her boyfriend pausing and looking back at her.

"Can we talk?"

He frowned and sat back down as she kicked off her tennis shoes and made her way to the couch and sat down.

"What did you write on my arm?"

He didn't speak, his eyes shifting away from her.

"I didn't write anything."

"Cap and you know it," she said, "look me in the eyes and tell me that again."

He glanced at her, his eyes wavering as he made eye contact.

"Do you write something on my arm or not."

Jaehyeon said nothing but look into her eyes.

"You're so beautiful-"

"Answer me."

Jaehyeon grabbed her hands and squeezed them while giving her a small smile.

"Yes but-"

"Why," she interrupted, "please tell me truthfully."

Jaehyeon nodded and gave her hands a kiss before rubbing circles on them with his thumbs.

"You're not gonna leave me," he said, "that soulmate of yours? Worthless because you have me and that's all you need."

"Jaehyeon he's still my soulmate," Hailee said, "and I understand yours left you... but why would I leave you? I will stay no matter what, and if I do decide to be romantically involved we can still remain friends-"

"No," he said shaking his head.

"You don't believe in soulmates, you have me. I'm the true one for you. I don't care what he writes... I'm the one."
