Prologue

The elf queen and the ex-fiance

Rhonya's ex-fiance, Schneider, is currently at his wit's end.

He had misunderstood Rhonya. Hence, he who now knows his mistake hungers for her forgiveness. This brought him to her grandfather Ronard and her friends, searching relentlessly for her whereabouts only to be chased away instead with no leads.

Even when he visited Ronard to beg for her whereabouts every single day, Ronard would shake his head and chase Schneider away from the front gate. Even if he wanted to meet Orphedot, Rhonya's contracted spirit, only the few who had obtained his prior permission could enter his forest.

His search for information about Rhonya's whereabouts led to no avail even after running around the capital city. But in order to ensure Rhonya's safety with his own eyes, Schneider did not give up no matter what, and choose to walk down the thorny path.

Hence, he decided to ask Orphias, a royal from the elven country who was also looking for Rhonya's whereabouts. Orphias held romantic feelings for Rhonya without her knowledge. Although Orphias did not directly approach Rhonya, he did harbor hostility towards Schneider, and they frequently exchanged rivalrous gazes. As such, Orphias too was searching for Rhonya relentlessly, and there was the possibility that he may have found her location. But Schneider had hesitated to ask the favor from him out of pride.

Relinquishing his pride, Schneider departed for the elven country to find Rhonya.
