V3 Chapter 2.5

4 What kind of relationship -Sena-

I don't mind whatever the relationship is.

As long as I can be by your side.

While tying up the long hair of my little brother Sez, he faced towards me.

"You jelly?"

"Huh? What're you talking about?"

"This morning, you thought Boss took Rhonya-tenchou home, so you're not jelly-?"

My face turned into a frown after hearing such a weird question from him. I planned to take a look at Rhonya and see what she was up to in the kitchen after this.

"Why I be jealous when I'm trying to get her together with Shize?" I whisper to make sure Rhonya doesn't hear it.

"Nii-san, are you okay with not being lovers with Rhonya-tenchou?"

"Not really, anything goes."

"Huuummm... Anything goes?" Sez replied back as if aiming for something.

I then realized I had uttered something wrong, but it was too late.

"You cheeky-"

"Ouchie." I lightly pinched Sez's cheek, while he smiled with no remorse.

After I completed tying up his hair, I tapped his shoulder and proceeded to move towards the kitchen.

"Then Rhonya, I'll get going."

"Alright, have a safe trip." (Rhonya)

Rhonya is seeing me off with a smile from our house's kitchen. Thanks to the weird conversation I had with Sez, this made me oddly conscious and tingly.

Then I went to group up with the others, and went to patrol around the town.

The night patrol proceeded without Shize as well, but just in case, we made another round through town. I walked while concentrating to check for intruders. After a round of patrol, Shize, who looked like he woke up from his nap, came by, and so we made our daily report.

Halfway through the road home, the topic changed into what happened to Rhonya last night. As we pressed Shize further, he told us the reason he brought Rhonya back to our home.

Or so to say, Rhonya's brother appeared in the shop, and started scolding her angrily before going away.

"She, didn't she say she would go and live in the Spirit Forest if her brother finds her?" As Chise reconfirms.

It was true that she had said that once.

"Eh? Then Ojou's gonna go away, you say!? What about the shop!?" the flustered Ryuse made a conspicuously unpleasant face to Chise.

"Heck if I know. Try asking the person directly then! I don't want this, that I can't have Tenchou's cooking anymore!"

"But Rhonya didn't say anything..."

I looked towards Shize, but he didn't say anything.

Although I have no idea what he's thinking about, but I'm sure he would keep Rhonya from leaving. Since he likes that café, and more than anything else he wouldn't allow such a thing as Rhonya leaving the town itself.

"Oi, there's someone."

After hearing what Chise said, I realized there was a visitor in front of our house. To think there would be someone who would pay a visit to us would probably be just the fief lord, the Baron himself. But it wasn't him.

A silver shining hair... No, a platinum gold long hair, and pointy long ears. Clad in a forest green mantel, a male elf who dresses like a traveler.

"Boss! He said he has something to tell Rhonya-san." (Sez)
