Tristan being a demon-goddess hybrid it's not surprising when Tristan grew wings one day. As expected the young prince needs to learn how to fly but there is one problem. Tristan is afraid of heights.
Meliodas called the remaining sins to help Tristan conquer that fear.
Meliodas' approach is the old fashion way.
"You two shall not interfere with this, that's an order as the King of Liones." Meliodas said.
The same way he was taught as a kid, being dropped straight of a roof.
"He'll figure it out somehow." Meliodas said, leaning on the edge of the roof. Both Ban and King stared at him with a disapproving look. "Come on this is how they learn, you throw them and they figure it out." Meliodas said.
Tristan screams the entire way down and Meliodas just waited at the rooftop.
"He's still not flying, cap'n." Ban said.
"He will." Meliodas replied.
"He's still not." King added.
"It'll happen." Meliodas replied with a bored expression.
"This is a tall tower." Ban said.
"That's why it's good." Meliodas smiled.
"You should get him, cap'n." Ban said.
"He's gonna fall to his death." King added.
"He's taking his time." Meliodas said.
Tristan's screams started getting louder.
"Cap'n!!" Ban shouted.
"I did that with my first time." Meliodas replied calmly.
"He's getting too close to the ground!!" King added.
Meliodas didn't respond and after a few seconds.
"You know what, he's not gonna fly." Meliodas said and flew down just in time to catch his son.
Tristan was crying but Meliodas calmed him down and threatened both Ban and King to not tell Elizabeth anything they saw that day.
Ban's approach is very simple.
"Alright, now together with everyone, we'll ride the Ferris wheel. You won't be alone so you don't have to be scared." Ban explained to the young Prince.
Tristan nodded and entered the cubby.
As the slow ride started Tristan is enjoying the scenery too much he almost forgot that he's on high ground. And once he looked down the young Prince started crying and Elizabeth have to carry his son down.
Gowther, now Meliodas regretted asking for his help.
Gowther made Tristan read books about phobias. This resulted in numerous phobias Tristan had for the course of two months.
Examples include; Fear of the cheese, Fear of the Ocean, and by far the strangest one of all fear of the color yellow.
Diane planned to strap Tristan on her back while she walks around the kingdom. Diane managed to place Tristan on her back as she gave reassuring speeches to the boy. But even before she took a single step Tristan started crying.
"I don't like this anymore Auntie Diane!! I wanna go down." Tristan cried.
King decided a little experience on flying would do the trick.
Now, Tristan loves seeing his Uncle King fly around. But he was terrified of the thought of him actually flying like he does.
Tristan's wings appeared on his back and King held his hand and they slowly rise up the ground.
It was nearing winter at the time and Tristan enjoyed the cool wind flowing through his hair.
"This is nice." Tristan smiled, not knowing that King is no longer holding his hand and once the boy realized this, he started to panic and he came crashing down but Meliodas was able to catch him.
"I think that's enough flying lesson for you little guy." Meliodas smiled.
