CHAPTER 16

~Flashback~

(Before their plan of a double date, after the day Taelisa were drunk)

Tae's pov:

Here I am sitting and packing my bags to go on a stupid double date with my crush and his so-called girlfriend. It was 11 in the night and I had to pick all of them tomorrow at 9. I kept staring at the clock thinking hard.

I am damn sure kook doesn't like Jen.

I am damn sure he loves me.

Then why can't he accept my love? Oh ya his paren--

Wait what if I...

Without thinking I ran from my condo to kook's house. I was pretty sure kookie is a heavy sleeper so he won't wake up. 

I stood there panting heavily with car keys in my hand. I looked at the door thinking should I knock or not. I glanced at my watch which showed 11:25.....

I knock slowly ones, twice, thrice 

Until the door opened kook's mom in her nightwear smiling at someone behind. Apparently, it looked like they had a movie date night. Kook used to talk about it a lot.

"Oh look who is here, Tae how are you" she exclaimed hugging me. I hugged her back, biting my lips.

I then saw Kook's dad walking towards us.

"Tae dear, why are you panting...Come in. But kookie is asleep" he said.

"I came running samchon.." I said rubbing my nape.

"Keys," he asked unsurely. I could clearly see both of them confused. 

Will I tell my future in-laws that I was so out of my brain that I ran here with my car keys but not the car, typically like a fool?

I opened my mouth to answer but soon shut it down. 

"Samchon, Ajumma can you come with me like I want to speak something personal," I said dragging them to the nearby cafe.

I ordered 3 chocolate milkshakes, making sure not to order something hot so that it won't hurt when they throw it on me with anger.

"All the best" the cafe owner also my college senior, Jin said making a heart. I do know he is too overboard sometimes but that heart saved me from a panic attack.

I nod getting another all the best from his husband, namjoon.

I walk to the seat where Kook's mom and dad were sitting with only pajamas. I feel bad for ruining their date night but as of now, my kook is all I want.

It had been solid 10 minutes. The cafe was empty because it was already past the closing time. I had asked Jin to open it for me.

I looked at them staring at me. I sigh before opening 2 boxes and placing it in front of them. Both had a plain ring in them. I got those rings so that I can customize them with mine and kookie's name which I never did.

I looked at them who was looking at me shocked.

"Samchon, Ajumma I love your son." I looked at them and their expression was something I expected shocked.

"I promise you I will be with your son in his every situation. From happiness to problems. I love him from the first time I ever met him and he does too but he is scared that he will go against you, the one who always been with him. He loves you and I love him sooo much. I want to ask him to marry me but before will you both accept me as another son in your family. I know I may sound damn crazy but, please accept me. I will keep your son happy. If you accept me then please take this ring, if you don't I don't mind you hitting me with that glass. The owner is my friend he won't mind" I said closing my eyes ready for a hit. 

But,...

Nothing happened. I opened my eyes to see both of them smiling holding the rings.

"So when are you proposing? my son" Samchon asked looking at me.

Before thinking I hugged thanking them 100 times.

~Flashback over~

I looked at Lisa, jungkook, and Jennie who were listening to me with open mouths.

"Then," Lisa asked.

"Then Jin and namjoon Hyung congratulated, me" I said looking at her.

"Then," Jennie asked

"I dropped them home," I said.

"Then," Lisa asked.

"I threw you both under a truck," I said rolling my eyes.

"Damn my husband is smart," Jungkook said who was now hugging his parents. I wiggle my eyebrows and he just blushes.

"So when's the wedding??" Kook's dad asked making all of us look at him.
