After the jet landed, Paul, John and the rest of Paul's band made their way to a hotel. Paul and John had rooms side by side.

The two met each other in the hall.

"Ey." John said.

"How does it feel to be back in a hotel?"

"Uh, well, its..................."

"Can't find the words for it, eh?"

"Now don't go making fun of me you twit."

"But you love this twit."

The two laughed. "Since I'm in town, I might go visit my aunt. I would wait until after the first show but.............."

"But we'll be in Japan afterwards."

"Right. So, I better do it now before I don't have another chance for a month. I didn't really talk to her last time I went there when you dropped by."

"You haven't seen or spoken to her since?"

"I speak with her on the phone of course, but I haven't seen her since the beginning of the year."

"Well then, I'll say its time you see her. Don't you think?"

John shrugged. "That's why I want to see her. I want to see her as often as I can but throughout the last few months, I haven't really been able to make up the time."

"That's understandable. We've just been so busy with everything, right?"

John nodded. "Yeh. Right. See, since I moved here, I wanted to see her as often as I could."

"Well then, come on. We're wasting daylight."

"Well, on the other hand, I might just wait until after the tour."

"Are you sure? As you said, it would be the last time you would get to see her for a whole month."

"Remember, its been three months since I've seen her, Paul."

"Are you scared to see her?"

"No! What makes you think that?"

"The old John would want to see her when he could."

"Well, the old John is gone. Been gone for about 13 years."

"Then its time to get the old John back. Don't you think?"

"How?"

"Well, the young John was witty. You know what yerself was like."

"What if I don't remember?"

"I'm sure you do. The old you wouldn't let anything come between yer family."

"I still don't."

"Let's go inside my room." Paul said as the two walked into the room.

"So, what else would the old me do since you know me so much."

"Well.................the old you wouldn't let yerself get so skinny."

John looked down at himself, then looked back up at Paul. "I don't know what yer talking about."

"John, you know yer too skinny. That shirt yer wearing doesn't even fit you anymore."

"So? What if I just like bigger shirts?"

"Not likely. You need to put on some weight. Have you ever cheated on yer diet?"

"Maybe once or twice but not all the time."

"How long has it been since you cheated?"

"I don't know, Paul. Its been several years I think."

"Well, if you would like, I could treat you to some real food."

"Oh, I don't think I can."

"Yoko doesn't have to know."

"I don't think I should."

"Even you said you wanted to get off this diet."

"Well, yeh, but................."

"What?"

"I've actually tried eating regular food last month."

"And?"

"It made me sick. I don't think I can."

"Yer body is not used to it anymore. You need to eat more."

"Paul..............I don't know."

"Come on." Paul grabbed a hold of John's arm. "Look how skinny yer arm is compared to mine."

"I wanted to be skinny. You know that."

"But you didn't want to be this skinny, did ye?"

"I never thought about that Paul. It never really bothered me being like this."

"No, but I'm sure you don't want to be a middle aged man and being as skinny as a stick."

"Who says that?"

"Me. Come on. I'll treat ye to a nice lunch."

"Paul, I told you, I might get sick from eating that stuff."

"Well, don't eat a lot and you should be fine. Take it a little at a time."

"Okay. Just this once though."
