*Draco's POV*
It was precisely 07:45 and I was heading down for breakfast as classes started at 08:20 and we had Care of Magical Creatures first, so I would have to walk down to Hagrid's smelly old hut. I knew that Bella would enjoy first period as she always had a fascination with animals of any kind. I thought it best to check on her to see if she were ready for the day ahead, knowing she was incredibly bad at getting up in the morning -honestly if there were a prize I'm sure she would win it. I had heard stories of her tardiness from father. Apparently there were time at Beauxbatons where she didn't wake up until 14:00! How can one person even sleep that long?
I knocked gently on her bedroom door, waiting to hear a response... None. I knocked again, a little harder this time to make sure she heard, even if she were in the bathroom she could have heard it... Still, no response. I knocked one last time this time calling out her name... still no response. Seriously, at this rate breakfast would be over soon. I turned the highly decorated silver doorknob; she didn't even lock her door, a little bit concerning I won't lie.
There she was. The true definition of a sleeping beauty. Although I must admit, she didn't look too enticing with her hair stuck to her face and one leg hanging out of the bed, but still beautiful nonetheless. Her lips were parted slightly, her eyes gently fluttering and brows furrowing every now and then, as if she were concentrating hard on something. I smiled to myself as my gaze fell down to her body, which for the most part was covered by the duvet, apart from the one leg hanging out as well as her chest... She was in a loose, silk and lace sleep vest which had fallen to one side during the night, revealing one plump breast. I tore my gaze away as I walked closer to her, sitting down gently beside her on the bed, fixing her top. I brushed her hair out of her face and stared at her. God she was gorgeous. She looked so good in the morning, all fresh-faced and glowing.
*Annabella's POV*
I felt a hand on my face. At first I panicked but then I realised it was only Draco. I recognised his touch; his big hands, cupping my face gently, pushing hair away from it. His touch was so soft and kind, so different from his father's rough and harsh one. Draco's touch was even different from how he acted; he had his moments where he could be so beautiful and really let his good shine through, but a lot of the time he was like me. Cold. Unloving. Cruel. It was the way we were raised, conditioned into being what our parents wanted us to be. Of course, it was no different at school. I saw the way everybody had looked at us, with fear but still a lot of respect, even his own friends listened to his every word -he was their leader in a way. However, we could act ourselves around one another, as we knew we were safe, no one could harm us when it was just the two of us.
"Hey Bella? It's time to wake up sleepy head... Bella? Wakey wakey lovely" a small loveable voice pulled me from my thoughts as I opened my eyes, squinting as they adjusted to the light that I assumed Draco had turned on when he came in. I rubbed my eyes and scrunched up my face, trying to think what time it was,
If this bastard has woken me up early I'll kill him!
My eyes focused on his face. His gorgeous face, with the grey eyes, platinum blonde hair and his pale skin. I understood why Pansy was so obsessed with him, but I couldn't think like that, he was my best friend. After all, he probably didn't feel the same and I had Blaise to look forward to messing with. His thumb caressed my cheekbone and he let out a low husky chuckle,
"Enjoying the view, Riddle?" He asked with a smirk plastered wide across his face.
"Not as much as you were last night, Malfoy" I quickly retorted, quite proud of myself for thinking of a comeback that fast as I usually struggled a bit. I watched as his usually pale cheeks tinted a rosy pink with embarrassment,
