*Annabella's POV*

-•- 2 months later -•-

It was mid-October and I was back home. I was back at Hogwarts. After the attack, the last two weeks of summer were quite boring. I didn't do much and nor did Draco. In fact we didn't really speak a lot since the night of the attack. We mainly just cuddled up together reading. I didn't have much to say except from, I needed my space and he respected that which only made me love the boy more, although he could never know that!

I was walking down the hallways toward my Defence Against the Dark Arts class, I hadn't been present for the previous lessons this term as I couldn't really be bothered since I was literally a piece of dark and fucked up magic, plus my father is literally Lord Voldemort... like what am I defending myself against? Myself? It's so stupid. On top of that, whenever I would go to classes last year, other students would give me dirty looks, which only made me hate the subject more... However, I had heard that this year's professor was cool, apparently he was as mad as a hatter though -he used the three unforgivable curses in the first lesson. What a legend... His name was Professor Moody. He was also an auror who put quite a lot of my father's followers in Azkaban, so while I thought he might be laid back and a fun teacher, I doubt he would have the same attitude with me. I was used to the prejudice from the other teachers, but it still annoys me, so I wasn't exactly dying to meet the man.

Class had already started and I was about ten minutes late because I didn't wake up early enough and my alarm clock of a friend (Draco) decided not to wake me this morning either... Hence, I was late.

Brilliant first impression, Annabella! You're absolutely killing it... I'm sure he will love you!

I chuckled at my own thoughts and pushed open the door to reveal a classroom of students staring at me, as if they were expecting me.

"What are you lot looking at?" I snapped, causing them all to turn their heads and look away. Except for Draco, he sat there eyeing me up and down, a smirk on his face as he rolled his eyes. He motioned for me to go and sit next to him where there was an empty seat. A seat I would've thought Pansy would be practically glued to, but apparently not. I shrugged and walked towards the seat.

"Nice of you to join us, My- Ahem, Miss Riddle! Now, would ya care to explain why you are seven weeks and ten minutes late to class?" The professor spoke, challenging me. I didn't like it when people challenged me like that. They should be treating me with at least some respect. I ignored him and sat down in my seat.

"Since you aren't answering, I expect you have all your assignments ready to hand in to me?" He inquired once more, I ignored him once more. Instead I turned to face Draco, striking up conversation in the deadly silent classroom.

"Hey, why didn't you wake me up this morning? I would have preferred at least a goodbye kiss..." I smirked before leaning in and placing a peck on his lips, his hand travelling up to my inner thigh. We faced the front again, to see an angry looking Moody glaring at the pair of us. That only made me want to laugh.

Draco and I had been sort of seeing eachother, while also allowing to see other people as well. So far, no one had taken my fancy so I remained single. Draco on the other hand, became something of a fuckboy. He had several different girls on his side during the course of a week at one point. Yet, he would still come back to me every time. We had slept in the same bed, nothing happening, we both just enjoyed the company and we fell asleep a lot easier when we were with eachother.

"Well are you prepared for the lesson then?" The cold voice of the professor pulled me from my sweet thoughts about Draco.

"Prick" I muttered under my breath.
