*Annabella's POV*
I had woken up fairly late to the sound of Draco tidying my room and packing my trunk for the Christmas holidays. It was Christmas Day and we were due to be going back to the Manor like always but this year would be different. I don't know why, but I could just feel that something bad was going to happen. I had sent an owl late last night to the Manor -more specifically, to Lucius- asking him about my constant blackouts, loss in memory and of course the flashbacks I kept getting. I was more interested in hearing about if he knew why I was blacking out. I was sure that both Narcissa and he had been told some information by Severus but I was unsure as to if they knew anything else that I didn't.
I went down to the dungeons after breakfast to see the potions professor. I needed to know if there was anything he could do to stop my blackouts. I assumed he either knew about the situation or -if he didn't- that I could trust him enough for it to stay between us. I knocked on the large door not even twice before it flew open, revealing a grumpy looking Snape.
"What do you want?"
"Ah, well... You see, I can't really say it out loud here Sev... I wouldn't want anyone to overhear us."
"If this is about getting a potion to save you from your midnight escapade with the young Mr Malfoy, then your answer is no..."
"No. It's not...Wait, what?" I was confused, how did he know?
I mean we didn't even get that far anyway... which is the whole reason I am here!
"Yes, a few concerned students made me aware of persistent sounds emanating from a broom cupboard... They had said they saw the pair of you go inside... Where is your guard dog anyway? I was meaning to speak to the pair of you before I sent a letter home." His monotone voice drawled on, only making me get annoyed at how condescending he could be.
"Okay, first of all, we didn't even get that far to need a potion... Which is the whole reason I am here."
"What, he couldn't-?" He began to interrupt me.
"Ah, no! Second of all, he is not my guard dog... And thirdly, you can just talk to Cissy when you come over tonight! You are coming aren't you?" I continued on.
"Yes, of course..."
"Good, I'll need to have a chat with both you and Lucius. Now, the whole reason why I am here..."
"I'm not providing a potion for erectile dysfunction, Miss Riddle!" He slammed a hand on the doorframe, I was still standing in the corridor.
"Ugh, for fuck sake! How many times do I have to say, it's nothing like that! Also, you can't exactly talk, you provided Draco and I with alcohol..." I pushed past him and sat down in a chair I had pulled across from his desk.
"Language..." he sighed as he walked over to me, casting a muffliato charm on the room.
"Look, will you help me or not?" I asked.
"Well, what exactly am I supposed to help you with?" He inquired sounding rather frustrated that I had interrupted what appeared to be him brewing something that smelled rather vile.
"Ew, what is that smell?"
"A potion... What else would it be?"
"Alright, alright, no need to be all pissy..."
"What have I said about language?!"
"Oh whatever, Sev. Just get rid of it, it's hurting my delicate nose."
"Like anything about you is delicate?!" He retorted.
"What is that supposed to mean?" I grumbled, getting annoyed.
