*Annabella's POV*

The fresh air struck my body, causing my cloak to billow out in the wind. It was a mild morning, the sun just starting to peak out between the clouds as Blaise and I made our way down to Hagrid's Hut. I had been told a lot about him by Draco, but most of all that he was 'a filthy halfbreed' which I most certainly did not approve of that name, I simply asked about the professor before meeting him. Draco then went on a rant about him being a half giant. I didn't really care though. Blaise and I were some of the first people there, accompanied by an angry looking Draco with a doting Pansy trailing behind him. He looked fuming but bored at the same time as he walked towards us, eyeing my every inch up and down. He shook his head and yanked me by my arm over to a pumpkin patch nearby the hut. We were both standing at an odd angle so as to not be seen by the other students,

"What the fuck do you think you're playing at?" I hissed slapping his hand away as his grip got a little too tight.

"I could ask you the same question missy!" His grey orbs had turned a shade darker with pure rage, as he pricked a finger in my chest, catching me off guard, "What was all that about? In the hall? You didn't even have your wand out! How did you do it? Actually nevermind how, also you lost us twenty house points -all because of your stinking attitude!"

I gasped sarcastically as I pretended to be offended by his words but was cut off by a sharp, stinging pain on my cheek.

Did this arsehole really just slap me? Me?!

"How dare you touch me like that! You arse!" I sneered as I pushed him as hard as I could, causing him to stumble back a few steps, sadly he regained his balance, before advancing towards me again.

"Answer my question! What happened back in there? Why would you do that on your first day! Now they have sent a letter home to my father about you! He will kill me for your bad behaviour, as it reflects poorly on all of us, and I was told to keep you under control!" He was seething at this point but a hint of worry laced his tone of voice, not many would pick up on it, but I did... He was scared, scared of what would happen to us because I had slipped up in front of a professor. I had promised Lucius and Narcissa that I would be good this time around, that I would fix my behaviour a bit, or at least try to. They knew I was difficult so I don't know why they had assumed it to be an easy change in attitude...

I closed the distance between the two of us and rest my head on his chest -which was heaving due to the lack of oxygen used during his screaming match. I wrapped my arms around his waist and nuzzled my head in closer to him as he did the same, his hands playing with my hair. I had styled it in a sleek ponytail for the day, due to being outside.

"I'm sorry..."

"No I am, I shouldn't have gone off on you like that, it isn't very gentlemanly of me. I let my emotions get the best of me, please just learn to control when and where you use that sharp tongue of yours, yeah?" He chuckled as he lifted my chin up so that my eyes were now staring into his.

"Oi you two! We are about to go into the forest! Quit the make out sesh!" An amused Blaise shouted, trying to locate us, probably feeling proud of embarrassing us like that in front of the whole class. It only helped his case that when we finally came into view we both had our hands interlocked, mainly for comfort, but also because me made a silent agreement to play along with whatever Blaise's version of what just happened was. It would be better for both of us, seeing as no one really heard us due to our arriving early. We weren't meant to show emotion, to show emotion is a weakness. Plus maybe it would get Pansy off of Draco's back for a while... he really didn't seem to enjoy her company, I can't imagine why. It's not as if she were ugly...
