Workin' Lately I've been workin' on myself, never been the type to ask for help from somebody else
"Daniel, come down here a minute" Jonah shouts upstairs as a girl awaits by the front door. "Ugh what now" the blonde boy asks as he drags his feet down the stairs. He then turns, almost in slow motion, to see the girl and his blue eyes pop. Jonah begins "y/n this is..." "Daniel" the blonde interrupts, walking slowly towards the girl. "It's nice to meet you!" the girl says whilst shaking his hand. "As I was saying, y/n is my cousin and she's going to be staying with us for a little while" Jonah explains. "Fun!" Daniel says with a smile, still in a daze. Y/n smiles whilst staring into his piercing blue eyes, as she too was in a daze. ————— "You're funny Seavey" y/n says slightly out of breath from laughter, as she sits next to the blonde on the sofa. Daniel is laughing but staring at her too. "I'm going to get a drink, does anyone want anything from the kitchen?" Y/n asks as she gets up from the sofa. "No thanks" Jonah says and smiles. "I'm good y/nn." Corbyn says looking up from his phone. "Dani?" Y/n waves a hand in front of his face. "Uh... no thanks" he slightly blushes as he is brought out of his daze by the one who sent him in. "Dude, what's gotten into you lately?" Corbyn asks. "It's y/n" Jonah simply answers before Daniel can reply himself. "What do you mean?" Daniel asks innocently. "You've been so much happier since she came here 2 weeks ago" Jonah explains. "Yeah, Jonah's right, you were really down before she came" Corbyn adds. Daniel turns as he hears y/n return from the kitchen, intrigued by what the boys said. —————
I wrote another love song baby about you I've written one for every second without you...
It's Friday evening and Daniel is alone in the studio, sat by the piano, trying to write a song. He realises every time he tries to think of lyrics they always refer to a love song. And, there's only one person on his mind. Daniels gasps at the realisation and grabs his phone immediately.

Daniel puts his phone down and continues to play the piano, singing this song he has in mind

Y/n and Daniel are on the road, driving in a quiet place. Suddenly, Daniel pulls over to the side of the road "What are you doing?" Y/n asks. "We're officially lost" Daniel states. "I know but, we're in the middle of nowhere, we can't just stop here" y/n explains. "It's starting to get dark, maybe we should wait here and try again in the morning?" Daniel suggests. Y/n turns to him confused "like we just sleep in here until it's light again?" "I guess, what would you suggest?" There's a pause. Then y/n's eyes brighten up as she gets an idea. She quickly opens her car door, "y/n it's raini.. and she's gone" Daniel is left confused. He quickly turns to see y/n smiling, opening his door. "What are you doing?" Daniel chuckles. "Just trust me" y/n says and reaches out her hand for him to grab. He does so and y/n pulls him out of the car. She leaves go of his hand and twirls in the rain, spreading out her arms as the night begins to draw in. Daniel laughs at her in awe. "Come on dance with me" y/n shouts a little. "Wait, we need music!" She states excitedly. "I have the perfect song, wait there" Daniel says before rushing back to the car to sink his phone. *love song begins to play. Daniel and y/n start to dance like it's a disco. "I love this song!" Y/n shouts again as the rain starts to pour heavily. "I wrote it" Daniel says, still dancing. Y/n stops "wait, what?" "I wrote it" Daniel repeats, shyly this time as he walks towards y/n. "Omg, Dani, it's so good!" Y/n says obliviously. "Where did you get the inspiration to come up with something like that?" Y/n asks, stood right in front of Daniel. "I wrote it about you" Daniel states softly. Without saying anything y/n gently grabs his face and kissing him softly on the lips. After kissing back, Daniel pulls away slightly confused. Y/n backs away quickly and looks anywhere else besides Daniel's eyes "I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't, I shouldn't have done that." Daniel smiles at her. "Why are you smiling?" Y/n asks confused. "I liked it" Daniel simply replies, moving a strand of her drenched hair away from her face. "Oh" y/n says before Daniel kisses her this time. They both pull a way after a couple of seconds and smile.
The next morning:
I wanna see the whole damn world with you, baby Yeah, you could be the one girl, you're drivin' me crazy
"Good morning" Daniel says as he stares at y/n whilst she wakes up. "Good morning!"
They head back on the road, on their mini adventure and listen to "love song" again and dance and sing along together.
