Your POV:

Today is Independence Day here in America so the guys are hosting a party in their backyard and of course I'm invited.

I'm really excited because I haven't let loose in ages and I feel like I need too.

I head over to their house a little earlier than everyone else to help them set up.

Jack answers the door with "hi y/n, come in" before giving me a hug.
"Y/n!" Zach shouts and comes over to hug me too, followed by the rest of the guys.
"Hi guys, Happy 4th of July!" I say before walking outside to help set everything up.

*time skip*

Third POV:

Everyone was having a fun time in the backyard, eating, dancing and watching fireworks.

Jonah notices y/n is stood alone so he walks up to her.
He puts his arm around her and asks "you okay, y/nn?"
Y/n responds with an enthusiastic "Jonah!" and a smile as she turns around to hug him.
Jonah chuckles.
"I'm better than ever!" Y/n shouts in a slur and stumbles forwards into Jonah.
"Woah, someone's had a bit much to drink" Jonah says as he supports her fall.

"Wait here, I'm going to get you some water."
Y/n nods in response.

Within a minute of Jonah leaving, y/n is dancing on top of a table and everyone surrounds her and cheers.

Jonah heads back with a cup of water but it's not long before he drops it due to the shock of his current sight.

"Y/n?!"
He knew as soon as he left that he shouldn't have trusted 'drunk y/n' to listen to him.

"Y/n get down!" he shouts but she ignores him and continues to dance on the unstable table near the pool.

Corbyn decides to help and pushes through the crowd to get to her.
"Y/n please get down" he says softly and offers his hand for her to grab.

Y/n gives in and goes to grab his hand but the table hand other plans when it decided to collapsed.
Y/n goes flying into the pool behind her and she screams.
Everyone gasps.
