Unfortunately Jonah and y/n's flight had been delayed numerous hours.
But, on the bright side, it meant the couple had more than enough sleep.

Arriving in Paris at 11pm was not Jonah's plan.
He wanted to go site seeing whilst eating ice cream in the sun before ending the day with a candlelit dinner, eating traditional french food but now it seemed too late for any of that.

In the cab to the hotel Jonah had a constant frown that upset y/n.
She grabbed his hand and looked at him sympathetically.
"I'm sorry J, I know this isn't what you had in mind" she speaks softly whilst he looks at her with a tender yet forced smile.
"But, hey I'm sure we'll find something fun to do to, we've had plenty of sleep to energise us" y/n says in a more lively tone in attempt to cheer him up.
"Yeah" Jonah smiles still unsure of how this night will turn out.

Once the couple arrive at the hotel their mood is uplifted.
The lobby is huge.
The ceilings are high and there is a crystal chandelier hanging down in the middle of the room.
The place smells like fresh vanilla and all the guests have a glass of champagne in their hand as well as a bright smile on their face.

Y/n and Jonah are greeted politely into the hotel with the same champagne and smiles.
They look at one another amazed.
Then, they clink their glasses together before sharing a cute peck on the lips.

Y/n continues to look around, "I feel like royalty."
Jonah chuckles before agreeing.

Soon, they are guided to their room where they immediately belly flop onto the humongous bed.
Jonah looks at y/n and asks "what now?"
"Let's roam the streets of Paris baby" y/n says as she jumps off of the bed and reaches for his hand.

The street lights shine down on the couple as they walk hand in hand.
Most restaurants are shut but they manage to come across a takeaway pizza place at the end of the quiet street.
"Are you ready to taste Paris' best pizza?" y/n questions Jonah as she stops to face him.
He's confused until he notices the sign in the window of the restaurant beside him that reads 'Paris' best pizza' .
"As ready as I'll ever be" he answers before placing his hand on y/n's lower back to guide her in.

The pair walk out of the restaurant holding a big slice of pizza on a napkin.
"Be careful, it's probably really hot" Jonah states.
However, an excited y/n doesn't pay attention and she takes a bite of the pizza.
She blows air out of her mouth and waves her hand up and down in front of her face to act like a fan because Jonah was correct.
The pizza was really hot.
Jonah simply laughs at the girl as she struggles.
After it cools slightly in her mouth she chews harshly to finish the bite she took.
Once she swallows it she tilts her head backwards in satisfaction and says "that was amazing."
Jonah laughs at her again and finally takes a bite of his pizza.
"Hmm, it really is the best pizza in Paris" Jonah states before wiping his mouth with the napkin.

The couple continue to eat and laugh whilst walking around the corner to a more busy street, completely oblivious to what is in front of them.
They finally notice the tall, triangular, sparkling tower that stood in front of their view, not too far away from them.
They stop in their tracks and stare at the magnificent masterpiece.
"Wow" they each whisper under their breath.

After another moment of the couple staring silently at the Eiffel Tower Jonah finally speaks.
"It's almost as beautiful as you."
Y/n rolls her eyes at how corny his words are even though she secretly loved it.
"Almost" she says with a smile before chuckling once again.

Y/n grabs both of Jonah's hands and stares into his eyes.
"Thank you for bringing me here."
"It's my pleasure darling" he replies before leaning in to kiss her softly on the lips.
