Your POV:

It's Thursday evening and I'm currently packing for a Christmas getaway. My friends and I decided to get together the weekend before Christmas to celebrate by gift giving, eating and drinking and just having some festive fun.
Jonah has very kindly let us stay at his holiday home (log cabin) in his home state, where I even get my own room for the weekend.
I couldn't be more excited!

{ The Next Morning }
It's Friday the 17th of December and I've just arrived at the why don't we household, ready with all of my luggage.
"Are you all set?" Jonah asks.
"Oh I'm more than set," I say.
Jonah shouts up the stairs to gather the boys before putting the luggage in the trunk.
Jonah also has let us use his dad's seven seater car.
The dad of the group is really pulling through this year.
"Y/n!" Zach shouts as he runs up to me to give me a big hug.
"Hey, Zach!" I say back with the same enthusiasm.
"I'm so excited, are you?" I ask.
"Duh," he states before rushing to the car.
"Hey y/nn," Jack says more calmly as he wraps his arms around my shoulders.
I grab his hands before turning around.
"Hey Jack, are you ready for the weekend?"
"I sure am," he says before letting go.
After greeting one another, we all settle into the car.

Jonah is driving, Corbyn's in the passenger seat, Daniel's at the back with suitcases, bless him, and in the middle is Zach, Jack and I.
"Oh look, the kids are in the middle," Corbyn chuckles.
"Hey! Just because I'm the same age as them, it does not mean I'm at the same maturity level," I say.
"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?" Zach nudges me.
"It means, you two are dumb at times," Daniel explains as he leans over from behind.
"No offence taken," Jack answers sarcastically.

A few hours later, it begins to get dark outside and I start to get tired.
Everyone is doing their own thing with their AirPods in so the car is pretty silent.
I lean my head back against the seat and shut my eyes for a few minutes.
Then, I feel my head slowly falling down to my right.
I'm too tired to stop it and I end up leaning on Jack's shoulder.
I'm sure he won't mind, he never does.
I feel myself falling deeper into his hoodie and deeper into sleep.

What feels like minutes later, Jack softly brushes hair out of my face and whispers, "y/nn."
I hum in response as I slowly lift my head up and notice the car has come to a stop.
"Are we here?" I ask.
"We're not far away but we've stopped at the local Walmart to get some food."
"Do you want to come in?" he asks.
"Yeah, thanks for waking me up."
"No problem," he smiles softly.
