Third person POV:

"I'm going to your parents earlier so that I can help Reese into her costume," y/n says as she gathers her things.
"Aw that's nice of you," Zach says from the couch.
"See you later," y/n says before pecking him on the lips.
"Okay, baby."

As soon as y/n arrives at the Herron household, Reese enthusiastically greets her at the door.
She runs to hug y/n whilst shouting her name in joy.
"Hey, Reese!"
Reese greets her in and takes her things.
"Are you ready to be transformed into Princess Daisy?" y/n asks, playfully dramatic.
"Of course!" Reese jumps up in excitement.
"Hi, y/n, thanks for doing this," says Myta.
"It's my pleasure," y/n responds but heading upstairs and into Reese's room.

"So, do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend yet?" y/n asks whilst she brushes through the young girl's hair.
"Well, there is this one boy from my class that I like, his name is Isaac," Reese explains.
"That's a cute name. What's he like?" Y/n questions.
"He's funny and kind and he loves to draw," says Reese.
"He sounds awesome just like you," y/n says with a smile to which Reese reciprocates.
"Would you like some makeup?" y/n asks.
"Yes! Please," Reese says excitedly.

Two hours later and the girls are ready, in their costumes.
They take a quick selfie before heading back downstairs.
"Wow, you guys look beautiful!" says Myta from the bottom of the stairs.
"Yeah, you both look great!" says Josh.
"Thank you!" the girls say in unison and laugh.
"Where are the boys?" y/n asks.
"They should be ready soon," Myta explains.

"There's Mario and Luigi," Josh says as Zach and Ryan walk into the room.
"You guys look great!" y/n says.
"So do you two!" says Zach.
Zach walks towards y/n and gives her his hand, "Princess Peach."
"Mario," she says whilst taking his hand.
Then, he softly kisses the top of her hand and she giggles.
"I want pictures before you go," says Myta.
So, the four of them have a mini photo shoot before going to trick or treat.

Ryan and Reese go around, door to door collecting candy whilst y/n and Zach supervise from afar, having their own fun.
"I'm kinda digging Mario, you know," y/n says and blushes.
"Really?" Zach chuckles.
"Mhm," she simply replies.
So, he smirks.
"Well, I'm definitely digging this," Zach says whilst pointing up and down y/n's outfit.
Then, he leans in for a kiss but they're soon interrupted by Reese shouting, "I got a snickers, they're my favourite!" to which the couple just laugh.
"Are you having fun, Ryan?" y/n asks.
"Of course, there's candy involved," he says and they all laugh.

An hour or so later, they head back to the house for dinner.
"That was delicious, thank you," y/n says as she sets her cutlery down on her now empty plate.
"Yeah, thanks guys," Zach says as he holds
y/n's hand under the table.
"Who's up for some apple bobbing?" asks Josh.
"Me!" Reese and Ryan shout in unison.

They all leave the table and gather around a large tub of water.
"I'm going to blindfold you before dunking the apples in so there's not cheating," explains Myta.
"The first one to leave with an apple gets to choose the halloween movie," says Josh.
Ryan, Reese, Zach and Y/N are all blindfolded ready to dunk their faces into cold water just to get an apple.
"Ready, set, go!" says Josh.
Y/n grabs an apple but drops it out of her mouth before it leaves the bowl.
"Almost!" says Myta.
"Oo, it's close," says Josh as he watches intensely.
"And Ryan's the winner!" Josh announces.
"Well done!" says Myta and Ryan receives lots of high fives.
Reese and y/n take off their blindfolds to reveal mascara down their cheeks.
"I think we should get cleaned up before the movie," Zach chuckles and the girls look at him obliviously until they turn to one another and burst out laughing.

Later that evening, everyone is gathered around the tv to watch 'hocus pocus' as chosen by Ryan.
"Good choice, Ry!" says y/n from Zach's arms.
"Thanks, I love it," he says.
"It's a classic," Zach agrees.
The movie begins and everyone goes quiet except Zach.
"So princess peach is officially gone," he whispers into y/n's ear.
"Yep," she nods.
"That's too bad, she was hot," he says.
She quickly turns her head to face him, "your girlfriend is hot," she states.
"That she is," he chuckles before placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.
