Third person POV:
Y/n is driving as she cautiously waits for her best friend to answer his phone. "Hey y/nn, what's up?" Jack casually asks through the car speaker. "Jack, I'm freaking out." Y/n quickly states. "What, why?" He questions. "Corbyn just kissed me" the girl says shyly. "What? How did this happen?" He asks. "Well, I went over his house to watch a movie and we were sat on the couch when he tried to move a piece of hair off my face and the next thing I know we're kissing. Then, I ran out because I freaked out." "But, didn't Jonah confess his love to you just 2 days ago?" Jack asks. "He did, I said I needed time to think though." Y/n replies immediately feeling guilty. "Or did you just need time to kiss Corbyn" Jack jokes but y/n didn't laugh. "Seriously Jack, I don't know what to do. I like them both obviously but, I don't want to come between them or the band and I definitely don't want to hurt anyone's feelings" she rambles on. "I've never been in a situation like this before and I feel horrible" she moans. "Did you and Corbyn speak or did you just kiss?" Jack asks. Then, there's a sudden loud crash. Y/n screams loudly. "Y/n are you okay?" Jack asks concerned. There's a silence. He soon realises his best friend needs help, so he hangs up to call for an ambulance. After tracking her phone to figure out where she is, Jack arrives at the scene of the crash to find her unconscious. He calls Corbyn and Jonah to let them know and gets in the ambulance with y/n.
At the hospital:
Y/n lays unconscious in the hospital bed, having been examined. Jack is sat in the chair beside her when Corbyn comes rushing in the room. He doesn't say anything but gasps and slowly walks towards the girl. He takes her hand in his with one hand and he gently strokes her face with the other. Still holding her hand, he turns to Jack, "what did the doctor say?" Jack replies with "her right leg is broken, she has harsh bruises all over her body and she hit her head pretty badly as you can see, so she has a bad concussion. Corbyn looks at y/n in pity, "this is all my fault" he mumbles. "How is this your fault?" Jack states more than asks. "Because, I knew Jonah liked her but I still kissed her, making her more confused than before so she ran out in a trance. I put all this pressure on her, I feel terrible." He says softly. "But the crash isn't your fault Corbyn." Jack says soothingly. Corbyn hears but doesn't listen and just goes back to staring at y/n.
There's a creak, both Corbyn and Jack turn to the door to see Jonah slowly walking in the room. "I don't want any trouble, I just came to see if y/n is okay" Jonah says holding his hands up defensively. Corbyn and Jack step away from the bed. Jonah stands over her with concern as Jack explains what happened to her. Then, y/n's eyes slowly begin to open, "Jonah?" She asks in nothing above a whispers. "Y/n?" He says gently holding her shoulder. "What happened?" Jack and Corbyn rush over to the bed. "You were in a car crash" Jack explains. "Uh..." y/n begins to hyperventilate as she is left confused. "I - I don't feel good" y/n stutters. "Where's Corbyn? I need Corbyn." "I'm right here y/n" Corbyn grabs her hand as Jonah steps away from the bed. "I'm here, you're okay" Corbyn begins. "Look into my eyes, everything is okay" he says almost out of breathe as y/n slowly calms down. "Breathe in... breathe out" Corbyn instructs as y/n listens and does as he says. "You're okay" he says and hugs her. "Please can you get me some water" y/n asks, her voice still croaky. "Over course" Corbyn says as he leaves go of her hand. "I'll go too" Jonah says, leaving behind Corbyn.
"Jack?" Y/n asks, her voice slowly getting back to normal. "Yeah, y/n" he walks closer to her bead. "This may sound weird right now as I've just been in a car accident but, I know who I want to be with" she explains. "Oh, well that's good" Jack says with a smile. "Yeah" y/n smiles back.
Meanwhile...
"Got it?" Jonah asks Corbyn who is on the floor getting a water bottle out of the vending machine. "Yes" Corbyn says whilst standing up. Jonah goes to walk back but is stopped by Corbyn's hand, "wait." "I have to tell you something" Corbyn says. "Okay" Jonah says with a confused look on his face. "I kissed y/n earlier, I'm sorry." "Why are you apologising?" Jonah asks. "Because I know you guys went on a date last week and I know how much you like her but, I couldn't control my feelings anymore, I'm sorry." "Eh, don't worry about it" Jonah states calmly. "But I am worrying, you're my friend, I shouldn't have done that" Corbyn says whilst looking at the ground. "Corbyn seriously, I've seen the way you and y/n look at each other, it's you she wants not me" Jonah says. Corbyn looks up in shock and doesn't say anything. Jonah continues "once y/n has recovered she will pick one of us but, I don't want there to be any hard feelings between us." "Me either, let's make a pact that no matter what y/n's decision is, we must remain friends" Corbyn states. "Best friends" Jonah states with a smile.
Corbyn and Jonah walk back into y/n's room. "Here you go" Corbyn says whilst handing y/n the bottle of water. "Thank you" she says before taking a sip. "How are you feeling now?" Jonah asks. "Okay I guess, my head really hurts though" y/n says. "Do you need anything else?" Jonah asks. "Actually can I talk to you alone for a minute please" y/n asks whilst sitting up in the bed. "Sure" Jonah says and Corbyn and Jack leave the room. "What's up?" Jonah asks, sitting on the end of the bed, in-front of y/n. "First of all I want to apologise" y/n begins. "What for?" Jonah questions. "For messing you around, I should have told you how I felt right away but I was confused for a while." "I understand that you were confused but, apology excepted" Jonah says with a subtle smile. "Secondly, I did have a lot of fun at the carnival last weekend, I have fun every time I'm around you. You're amazing Jonah and someday you will find someone who will love and appreciate you but, unfortunately that person isn't me. However, you're still one of my best friends and I love you lots." Y/n says softly. "I love you too y/n, you've taught me more than you'll know" Jonah says with a smile. The pair exchange a hug. "Please could you ask Corbyn to come in here alone" y/n asks. "Yes" Jonah says with a smirk. "Thanks" y/n chuckles a little.
"Everything okay?" Corbyn asks walking into the room. "Yeah, I just wanted to talk. Take a seat" y/n says, patting the end of the bed. Corbyn sits and stares into y/n's eyes, patiently waiting for her to speak. Y/n takes a deep breath and begins to speak, "Corbs, when I first met you I was amazed, you had the freshest outfit on and your hair was beautifully brunette, you were hot." The two chuckle, "why, thank you" Corbyn says jokingly, "please, continue" he gestures his hands royally. "You had these piercing blue/green eyes and a cute smile, and you've continued to amaze me ever since, with your intelligence, your funny personality and your kind heart." y/n continues. "I don't know exactly how you feel Corbyn but, I do know I'm in love with you." y/n says nervously as she fiddles with her fingers. "I'm in love with you too y/n" Corbyn says softly and y/n quickly moves her head up to face Corbyn. Nothing else is said. Corbyn slowly lifts y/n's chin towards him and softly kisses her lips. They pull away and smile, "god you're amazing" Corbyn says and they both chuckle.
