Sophie/Dex

Third-person Sophie Pov

Sophie turned around and stood up to see a boy about her age with Strawberry blonde hair and periwinkle eyes. "I'm fine. I should be used to it by now, but it still hurts in multiple ways. They're the only family I have left. My mom died when I was 9 and my dad got killed in a car accident 2 years ago. Now it's just me and my stepfamily. Or more like me being the maid for them." I looked down and kicked a rock into the grass. "That's a lot to process, but I can walk with you if you want. I'm Dex, by the way." He said, holding out his hand

3rd person Dex pov

The girl looked up and shook my hand and said "I'm Sophie." "Nice to meet you, Sophie." Dex checked his watch (Not expensive, mind you) "Oh shoot!" He said as he looked back up. "We're gonna be late! C'mon!" Dex helped Sophie up who was blushing with embarrassment. They both ran to their new school, Foxfire.

"Umm, why is this school so big, and um...is it a pyramid shape?" Sophie asked Dex. "Yep," Dex answered. He led her to her first class. "That's Marella. I think she would help you in this class. I need to go to mine." Dex whispered as he pointed to a blonde girl.

Sophie sat down next to Marella. "Hi," Marella said. "Hi-"

"AHEM! Miss. Foster, did you decide to run late this morning?" Lady Galvin thundered. Sophie gulped. Dex texted Marella.

Dex: Mare!

Marella: NO NICKNAMES

Dex: fine. Take care of the new girl.

Marella: mhm

Dex watched through the door and someone popped behind him. "Ditching Dex? Great. I'm ditching too." he smirked. "Keefe no!" Dex groaned. "Whatever. It still looks like you're ditching..."

"Nooo nope no." Dex protested, running to his class.

3rd person Sophie's pov

Sophie glanced nervously at Lady Galvin who was glaring at her. "S-Sorry." She quietly said. Sophie heard snickering and turned around. "Ugh don't mind her," Marella said. "She's Stina. Her name reminds me of Stink." Marella snickered. "Oh."

"MARELLA!" Lady Galvin strictly said. "Yes, Lady Galvin?" Marella innocently said. Sophie laughed. "DETENTION FOR BOTH OF YOU!" Lady Galvin shouted. "On the first day of school?" Marella said. Lady Galvin looked like she wanted to explode. "FINE! Just because this is the first day of school, I will let you loose."

Marella winked at Sophie. Sophie laughed.

Time skip after a few classes

"Lunch!" Sophie squealed. She took a Cobb salad. "Yum!" Marella said, taking a bite of her salad. Sophie sat next to Marella when Stina came sashaying over. "Sup losers!"

"Sup annoying!" Marella shot back. "Stop messing with them!" Dex said, sliding next to Sophie. "Ooh! Dexie has a cruusshhhh!" Stina sneered. A girl stormed over and pushed Stina away. "NO, HE DOES NOT!" She yelled. Wow. She looked pretty with dark brown hair and teal eyes. "Ooh! Now Biana's mad!" Stina cackled. Biana was about to shove Stina away when another boy with dark hair and teal eyes grabbed her arm. "Biana!"

"Fitz?" Biana asked. Fitz shook his head. "That's what I thought!" Stina laughed. Sophie stood up. "Go away, Stinka."

Marella started laughing and whispered to Sophie. "It's Stina!"

Sophie blushed with embarrassment and said, "S-Stina. I meant Stina."

Stina was fuming with anger. She stomped away with her minion friends trailing behind her. "Nice one Soph!" Dex laughed. "Oh um...who's this?" Biana asked, sitting next to Dex. "This is Sophie."

"Well Hi Sophie. I'm Biana and this is Fitz." Biana said, eating her salad. "I've seen you before. You're our neighbor right? You must not like going outside." Biana said. Sophie shrank. "Something like that."

Dex noticed and changed the subject. "So, where's Keefe?"

"Probably ditching." Dex said. "Nah. I come for lunch at least!" Someone said, coming to them. "Keefe!" Marella said, surprised. "I thought you would ditch!"

"I did. But I'm hungr- whos this?" Keefe asked, pointing to Sophie. "That's Sophie Foster." Dex said. "Ohhhh Hi Foster." Keefe said, running his hand in his golden hair. "My name is Sophie not-"

"OMG KEEFE SENCEN?!" Austin screamed. All the other girls ran to him, screaming. Keefe sighed. They took at their phones and started taking pictures. Sophie shut her eyes.

Past

"Bye Sophie." Dad said, getting in the car. "Bye daddy!" Sophie waved. Grady left and Sophie realized that he forgot his wallet. Sophie grabbed it and ran outside. "DADDY! You forgot your-"

Dad flashed his blinkers and honked his horn at the other car that was driving towards him. The lights blinded Sophie for a moment and in that moment, the car crashed into dad. Sophie dropped his wallet and ran towards the jumble of 2 cars. She started crying as the car was twisted and ruined.

Hey guys! I know this is really sad, but we need emotion in the story and that's just how we roll. RIP her dad and mom, also stay safe and farewell my keepers!
