...that Biana collapsed on the floor with a snake bite on her ankle. Elwin rushed to help her. Sophie stumbled back. That was the second snake. "What is going on...?" Keefe asked. "I-I don't know!" Fitz clung to Biana's bed. Biana winced but forced her eyes open. "What happened?" She moaned. "You were bitten by a snake." Fitz answered. Sophie stumbled outside. A snake lunged for her but Sophie jumped and screamed. Someone grabbed the snake and stuffed it in a cage. "Are you alright?" He asked. Sophie looked up. It was Grady! "Uh...yes thank you." She replied. Grady glanced at the snake. "That was the tenth one today!"
"TENTH?!" Sophie shrieked. "Yep." Grady matched off to put the snake where the others were. Sophie got out her phone. A snake jumped and snatched it from her hand. It slithered to the woods. "Hey! Come back!" Sophie cried, chasing it. "GOTCHA!" Sophie knew it was bad but she flung the snake away. "Good job snake." A voice said. Not a new voice. A voice that Sophie knew. "Kath." She said. "Why hello Sophie Foster."
"Stop!" Sophie shouted. "STOP! STOP! STOP! YOU'RE HURTING PEOPLE!" She screamed. "Oh? I am?" Kath cackled. "We'll make a deal. Surrender and come with us, and we'll stop attacking Eternalia." Kath said. "What? No!" Sophie said, shocked. "Oh, well." Kath said. "Wait! No-that's not what I meant. I will! Just...stop." Sophie said. "Really? You'll surrender?" Kath's face twisted into a smile. "Capture all snakes and retreat." Kath said into her phone. Sophie couldn't believe it.
She was actually...she was actually surrendering.
