Sophie woke up and expected to see the familiar room in Everglen. Instead, she found herself in a huge room in Havenfield. Sophie got up, changed, and went downstairs. "AH!" She jumped to find her friends. "Sorry!" Biana said. "Your friends wanted to visit." Edaline said, setting food down on the table. "Yep. We wanted to surprise Foster." Keefe smirked. Sophie rolled her eyes as she made her way to the table.

"Soooo." Linh sank into Sophie's flowered carpet. "I'm reeeeaaaalllly bored now." Tam said. "Then why'd you come?" Fitz asked. "LINH dragged me." Tam said. Linh giggled. "Let's go outside." Sophie suggested. I think I need to spend more time with them. She thought. They all ran outside, and Sophie immediately tripped on a tree root. "Typical." Keefe laughed as he helped her up. "Guys look!" Fitz pointed up. Vultures were charging towards them. Or the tree. Sophie couldn't tell which. "RUN!" Biana screamed. Everyone toppled over each other to get away. In the end, they had feathers all over them. They all burst out laughing.
