"Ugh. Glad that was over." Sophie muttered. The others murmured in agreement. "Let's go!" Linh enthusiastically said. "I'm hungry." Biana announced. "I know...but we have to get going." Sophie said. Biana pouted but she followed them to the trail. They were 20 minutes in when Linh screamed, "OW!" A snake slithered away. "What's wrong?" Tam worriedly asked. Linh continued to scream. "She was bitten by a snake!" Sophie gasped. "Luckily that snake wasn't poisonous ." Dex said. "Who cares if it's poisonous?! She got bitten by a snake!" Tam snapped. "Okay, chill. We'll have to carry her-and get to Elwin." Keefe said. Tam carried Linh and began running. "Hey, wait up!" The rest of the group began running too.
"We're here!" Biana cried. Everyone collapsed on the floor except Tam. He ran straight to Elwin. They all followed Tam. Elwin quickly gave Linh a small shot from where she got bitten. Then he slathered something on it. Linh sniffled but stopped crying. "Are you okay?!" Tam asked. "Y-yeah...thanks E-Elwin." Linh said. "No problem. Surprised that Sophie didn't need anything." Elwin laughed. Sophie blushed. "Yeah Foster. It's a record!" Keefe nudged her. "Nu-uh!" They heard crunching noises so they turned around to find...
