11. Advice

Hunter POV

It's been 2 weeks since Brayleigh got back and just like Fallon she has been having nightmares and keeping the door shut, every night it wakes me up and I go to check on her but I can't get in so I go and check on Antonio who is next door and the first night I was scared because he wasn't there, I ran around the house looking for him.

Turns out he has taken a liking to Fallon a lot because I knocked her door and saw them lying in bed together and Fallon is protecting him, it melted my heart seeing it because I hope that one day it's our children in bed with us. Brayleigh has been getting better but still freaks when she hears loud noises, I just hope she can talk to us eventually.

I walk into the kitchen and see my beautiful vixen sat at the table with Brayleigh, Skylar and Antonio, Antonio is covered in porridge and he see me and smiles.

Antonio – Unt!

Hunter – Hey buddy! You okay?

Antonio – Orrid.

Hunter – You like your porridge I see?

He nods his head clapping and I chuckle, I bend down and kiss Fallon head and turn to Brayleigh.

Hunter – How are you today Bray?

Brayleigh - I'm actually feeling good, no nightmares but I do apologise for waking everyone up.

Fallon grabs her hand and smiles.

Fallon – It's okay hun it's not your fault! I had them as well.

Hunter – Yeah and trust me Fallon was much louder when screaming, I tried to get into her room but she locked the door every night.

Fallon – They get better.

Brayleigh – Could you make any of them out?

Fallon – No not yet it's all scrambled, I've been back for 3 months now and still none of it makes sense. I don't get why he took me either.

Brayleigh – I know why and I tried to warn everyone but that's why I got taken because I found out they were going to take you and why.

Fallon – Can you tell me? I know we haven't spoken in a while because you've been resting but do you think you can tell us?

She smiles at Fallon and lets out a deep breath.

Brayleigh - It's hard to explain and I don't think your dad knows but Matthew is Ace half brother, same father different mother, Matthew wants revenge on Ace because there dad got rid of him and kept Ace.

Hunter – But Matthew's like 28?

Brayleigh – Ace dad had an affair when Ace was 17 and he didn't want Ace or your nan finding out.

Ace – He what?

We all jump and turn and see Ace there looking shocked.

Brayleigh - I'm sorry.

Ace – My dad cheated on my mum with Matthew mum?

Brayleigh - I'm sorry, that's why Matthew took Fallon for revenge because he feels you had an easy life as where he grew up in foster care and then was fostered by the head of the scorpion gang before he took over.

Ace – I don't get why my dad would cheat on my mum?

Brayleigh – Can you not ask him?

Ace shakes his head and looks down at the floor.
