34. Shopping Spree

Fallon POV

All of us are heading to the shopping centre, we pull up and I go to get Nova out of her car seat when Hunter says he's got it, I smile and grab my bag from the boot. Skylar comes over to me and touches my belly and I smile at her.

Skylar – They are cooking nicely.

I laugh.

Fallon – Tell me about it, I'm only 18 weeks and I feel like the size of a hippo already.

Skylar – Cherish it.

Fallon – I am, they have started moving, it's not really strong movements but you can feel it slightly if you feel properly but I mostly feel it from the inside, I thought it was gas originally because I've never experienced it before, Nova was born when I was 20 weeks and I was so drugged I don't remember.

Skylar - It's amazing what we can feel right.

Fallon – Definitely! How are you doing?!

Skylar – Sickness has stopped since I've been taking the parental vitamins and anti sickness tablets, I feel better but I'm not sure how long it will last because I've got to start treatment next week.

Fallon – Has Zoey said if your having chemotherapy or radiotherapy?

Skylar – Chemotherapy because it's the safest for the baby during the second and third trimester, thankfully I am 14 weeks almost 15 so I'm in the second trimester, radiotherapy is harmful to the baby and chemotherapy is harmful to the baby during the first trimester, I've done so much research and Zoey has been so good giving me leaflets about it.

Fallon - That's good, your still early on with the cancer so it should work fine.

Skylar – Yeah Zoey said I'm stage 2 from what she could see on the ultrasound, I need to ask her if the sample came back so she has a rough idea if it definitely is stage 2 or less.

Fallon – Why don't you give her a call?

Skylar – Thank you.

She smiles and walks off to the side of the door outside the shopping centre, everyone walks over and Kylo looks at me and then Skylar.

Kylo – She okay?

Fallon – Yep, she is just phoning Zoey to see if she got the results back from the sample.

Kylo – Oh right, she could of asked me to ask.

Fallon – I think she doesn't want to put more stuff on us considering the funeral yesterday and the shooting.

Kylo – I know but dad would want me to protect my girl and baby.

I smile at him.

Fallon – You've changed so much Lo.

Hunter - Hasn't he just, he used to be such a slüt.

We all laugh.

Kylo – Haha laugh it up, so did you!

I smirk at Hunter and he roles his eyes.

Hunter – I know I know but you have to go through bad eggs until you find the right one.

Fallon – Is that even a saying?

I laugh.

Hunter – If not it is now.

He smirks at me and I feel a pull on my hand, I look down and see my beautiful princess smiling up at me.
