43. Never Say Never!

Brayleigh POV

Seeing my dad and the others carry Chris in was like torture, I haven't seen him since Fallon queen crowing ceremony and now I finally see him with blood all over his face, blood soaked through his shirt and blood falling down his arm. My dad told me to not get in the way because Chris wouldn't make it if they didn't get to the hospital room so I moved aside but it doesn't stop me from going to the hospital room with Fallon and Hunter.

I hear a machine flatlining and I see it's Chris.

Brayleigh – NO! Don't you dare leave me Chris!

I look at my dad, Fallon dad and her brother and they all looked really worried, I charge at them but Ace grabs my waist and I start hitting my dads chest.

Brayleigh – What did you do to him! What did you do!

I keep saying over and over while hitting his chest and he grabs my wrists.

Salvatore – Look at me sweetheart.

He said in a soft tone, I looked up and he has a tear running down the side of his face.

Salvatore – We didn't do anything, your man here decided enough was enough and gave up his cover to protect Harley from being shot at which resulted in him getting shot in the gut and arm.

I hear the sound of a heart beat and I turn and see his heart machine is beating fine again and I let out a deep breath.

Zoey – He is stable but I need everyone out the room now! Apart from Fallon and Bentley.

Hunter - Let's go to the office and discuss what happened, sis can you wheel me there?

I turn to my twin and smile.

Brayleigh – I suppose.

I smirk and he smiles, I wheel him to his office and he climbs onto his chair and then looks at everyone.

Hunter – So what happened?

Hunter POV

I'm in my office with everyone sitting around and my sister seems out of sorts which is understandable, I look at them and ask what happened and they all look down at the floor.

Hunter – I don't have all day!

Kylo – The last power plant was abandoned Archie told us, we pulled up and saw cars outside so we went in guns at the ready and saw Ariel chained up being punched over and over again on her face and stomach, it's like they were expecting us but it was only Matthew, Maddox, the 2 men from the video and Chris, David wasn't there, we heard Joe scream over the ear piece saying about his foot so Warwick went outside to help.

Chris smirked at us and gave us a wink letting us know he was on our side which we knew and then Matthew started talking about how amazing Ariel felt against him and other disgusting stuff, he was also not surprised to see dad alive, he started saying how Ariel will be pregnant soon and how when he gets Fallon again he will show her who's boss.

I sit there with my hands balled into fists.

Ace – And I kind of lost it, I shot at him and Maddox jumped in front and took the bullet to the chest or stomach and then Matthew got pissed off and pointed his gun at Harley and pulled the trigger and that's why Chris jumped in the way to save Harley, Matthew started shouting you traitor and then picks Maddox up and runs out with him while the other 2 men stay behind.
