20. Unexpected Family

Fallon POV

I've just heard Warwick say hey uncle A and I'm so confused, I look between them and then hear my mum scream and run over and hug Warwick.

Catherine – Oh my gosh! Warwick! What the hell are you doing here? Where's my sister?

He looks down at the floor and Salvatore puts a hand on his shoulder.

Catherine – What is it?

Fallon – Can someone please tell me what is going on?!

My dad smiles.

Ace – I know your probably wondering why you've never heard about Warwick and there is a reason, Warwick is your mum's sister son but back when Warwick was born and I met your mum her sister Caroline didn't want to be involved in the mafia life so instead of your mum changing her life and everything Caroline went away to Australia with Warwick and her husband and changed her name and everything.

We promised to cut ties to protect them because it wasn't fair on them, we spoke to them now and again if it was really important, we have kept in touch more lately because we thought everything had been settled with the rival gangs and we hoped that maybe she could keep a look out around her area in case she saw someone that matched your description.

Catherine – We never told you kids because we were worried in case you spilled and said something and the rivals found out, I haven't actually spoken to Caroline in a year now, last time we spoke was when we got you back, I told her but I'm guessing by Warwick being here and not looking at me something is wrong because he wouldn't just show up out of the blue.

Warwick bursts out crying.

Warwick – You won't hear from her again. I'm so so sorry!

He cries hysterically and my mum goes over and hugs him.

Catherine – Shh. What happened?

Warwick – Car...car accident but I'm not sure it was an accident that's why I'm here.

I look at my dad and he sits down and hugs Warwick and I turn to Harley.

Fallon – Harley look into this please and see what the Australian police have.

Harley – Yes queen.

I laugh.

Fallon – Please just call me Fallon, Fall or boss if needed but honestly Hunter is your boss.

He nods and walks off and I look at Hunter and he smiles at me.

Hunter – I will go and check on Nova.

I smile and turn and see my mum walking outside, my dad stands up but I tell him I will go, I head outside and sit next to my mum on the hammock we have, she bursts out cry and I pull her into a hug.

Fallon - I'm so sorry mum.

Catherine – I promised I would protect her and I couldn't even do that!

Fallon - It's not your fault mum, if it wasn't an accident we will find the mother fücker and make them pay!

She half laughs and half sobs and pulls me into a tighter hug.

Catherine – Your such a strong girl! Your definitely your father's daughter. We are so proud of you sweetheart.

Fallon - I'm proud to have parents like you two, I hope I am an amazing mum to Nova like you are to us.
