This reminded Jenny of a sleep away camp, though she had never been to one. Individual beds for each person, dressers to put clothing away, dimmed lights, it was low quality but that was almost the charm of it. Jasper helped her put her things away, and all Jenny wanted to do now was lay down. It had been a long day of walking and new experiences. It was exciting, but tiring. It was now late in the evening, and the sun was almost ready to go down, but she could sleep for the whole rest of tonight and tomorrow.

"Hey, hey, don't get too comfy. Everyone eats dinner by the fire as a sort of... attendance. And you've seen how Asher gets when someone's late. Also, no offense, but it looks like you haven't eaten a decent meal in a year." Jenny picked up the pillow on her bed and threw it at Jasper, making him stumble. "Yeah, I got it, I got it. I'm just pretty tired. And it's quiet in here, but not too quiet. That's the best part. Back at the house it was always dead silent, my own breathing annoyed me. But I can hear people talking outside. That's all I really need." she closed her eyes just for a moment, shoving her face in the mattress. Jasper bent down and stared at her eye to eye. "You really are fucked up in the head, aren't you?" She pushed his face away, and he fell to the ground. "Says you, creep." she murmured as he got back to his feet.

"By the way, that talking isn't going to be so therapeutic in a bit. Eren loves yelling at anyone who annoys them, mostly me, and that's why it sucks that they have to share a room with Corey. She wanted to be a musician before everything happened. So she plays guitar sometimes, and Eren can't stand it. I think it's nice, though." he admitted, pointing at the guitar leaning on the bed in the far corner.

Jenny lifted herself to sit up and look towards him. "So who else is in this cabin?" Jasper looked up and exhaled. "Uh... let's see... Eren and Corey... then there's Delilah, and she gets along with everyone, if there's anyone you wanna talk to it's her. Christine doesn't stay in this cabin, but expect her to be here often. She and Eren sleep together all the fucking time. It's endless." Even if there was a bit of yelling and chaos, she wouldn't mind. It reminded her of home since Mom and Steph would argue every second they got. "But hey, I think you'll be a good match here because of Delilah specifically. Really, she does love everyone. Just tell her your name and she'll want to know everything about you. So if you're not talkative, I'm sorry to say, that's what goes down in here."

She really wasn't, or hadn't been. But she wouldn't mind now.

"Question. What does everyone do when they're not in the cabins? I assume we all have work to do." Jasper finger guns her. "You got it. But don't worry, it's not hard work. Just cooking, cleaning the fire pit, fruit picking, and everything else is up to Asher and the adherents."

"Adherents?"

"Ah sorry. Those were the people wearing the long white robes with veils over their faces. Those people have completely dedicated themselves to the Lord Asher admires so much. They take care of hunting and giving to the Lord. By that I mean the offerings. There's a fucking huge pile of dead animals and other crap at the very back of camp. It smells like shit, I don't recommend going back there, but Asher's there almost every night. It scares me how dedicated he is. Creepy bastard."

Then why the fuck did he stay here?

"Don't tell Asher I said that by the way. He'll sit me down for a talk and I've heard they're very uncomfortable." that didn't make much sense. From what she had seen, Asher looked like a respectable leader. He was very welcoming and kind to just about everyone. The way he greeted Jasper specifically, he seemed to really care for him and everyone else. He was so worried just because he was gone for a little over an hour. He didn't seem like the total creep she assumed he was. But knowing how Jasper spoke, he was probably exaggerating to freak her out. Well that wasn't going to work.
