Delilah hadn't spoken a word to anyone since then. Eren tried to talk to her just to get her to say something, but she just lied in her bed, pretending to be asleep. Every time something good happened around there, something bad came right after it, or that was Jenny's experience at least. Meeting Charlotte had been the highlight of her day, but now this was happening. She was surprised she was even able to sleep that night, even though Delilah clearly wasn't. But it only felt like a second before it was morning. At first, she was confused on why it felt like such a short time, but then Delilah crossed her mind. She immediately jumped up and looked down at her bed. Delilah was gone.

She had completely expected this, but now that she actually didn't know where she was, her anxiety started to kick in. This wouldn't be a big deal usually, but there's no way to describe waking up and immediately feeling that something is terribly wrong. That feeling clawed at Jenny and wasn't going to leave her alone.

"Oh shit, oh fuck!" she shouted, instantly getting the other's attention. Christine was in Eren's bed again, they both woke up, wondering what the commotion was about. Corey stayed put until Jenny started rambling to herself. "Where the hell is she? She was acting so fucking weird yesterday, and now she leaves without telling anybody, this is so not like her, I have to start looking for her-"

"Jenny!" Eren snapped her out of her rant, keeping an arm around Christine. "Calm. Down." they insisted. Jenny breathed in and out deeply, raising her hands slightly to grab their attention.

"You saw how awful she was yesterday, right? What if something happened to her?" of course this was the worst case scenario, but she couldn't help thinking about it. Eren pushed their hair out of their face and sighed. "Okay, just breathe for a second. We have to think about this rationally, but you're right. This isn't like her. She always tells everyone where she's going in the morning so we know she's safe. We should look for her. I'll go with Chris. Jenny, go wake up Jasper. If he knows Del's missing, he'll get up right away."

Jenny nodded and fled out of the cabin, turning over to Jasper's. He shared it with Calvin and a few other people she hadn't gotten to know very well, but as long as she could just get him out of the cabin and out the fucking door, that was all that mattered. She grabbed the handle and threw the door open, looking for whoever was Jasper, she couldn't tell since the lights were off.

Walking down the cabin, she finally spotted his fluffy hair poking out from underneath the covers. She leaned down and started shaking him. "Jasper! Get up please, Delilah's missing."

He only stirred at first, but once the word sunk in, he turned to her looking concerned. "What? Where'd she go?"

What a stupid fucking question to ask.

"We don't know, just help me look please. You saw how weird she was acting yesterday, wherever she is, it's probably not good," she begged, literally pulling on his arm to get him out.

"Okay, okay. Give me a second." he turned himself over the side, rubbing his hands on his face. "That's definitely not like her. She always waits for everyone to leave the cabin before going anywhere. Something must have happened. But I'm sure she's fine. Del's smart, she wouldn't let anything bad happen that easily." he stood up, and started for the door with Jenny.

"I know, I know. But I don't even know what to think anymore. She looked so lifeless yesterday, Jasper, and even though I've only known her for a while, I don't want anything bad to happen to her, God, I should have stopped her from running away-" once they were out of the cabin, he grabbed her by the shoulders and held her down. "You're panicking. It's okay. We'll find her. I promise."

Jenny nodded, still in a rush, and the two were met with Corey, Christine, and Eren.

"We're going by the left side of camp. You guys take the right. Corey, go get Asher." Eren ordered like they were a war leader. They didn't show it most of the time, but they really did care for everyone here, especially the innocent. Corey didn't hesitate to start running over to Asher's cabin, as Eren and Christine took off right after. Jenny and Jasper exchanged glances before heading to their side. The only things over there were a pond, the place for offerings, and the church. They went for the church first, hoping there would at least be a trace of her there. It was still dark in there, no candles were lit, and it looked empty. Nobody had been there.
