Title Ideas: Original Protectors; Time of the Predators; Siphons of Time; Mikaelson Wards

Summary Of Idea: For this story, the twins when they're young (between 4-7), end up back in time and run into the originals. They end up being taken in by them, especially since it's clear that they are from the future and have nowhere to go and the originals weren't heartless towards children (although, originally, Klaus would probably see them as an asset because of their siphoning powers).
In this, they could land in either the 1500s when Katherine was a human or in New Orleans when Marcel was there (1800s to 1900s). I could see them interacting with Katherine, who would probably have a maternal reaction to them because of the whole 'having her baby stolen from her' situation. Or with Marcel, who would probably adore them.
One idea I had for this story was that Kol becomes very attached to them. If the writer wanted, Kol could be the one the finds them. We all know Kol despised Marcel but the twins are siphon witches, and Kol has respect for witches. Along with the fact that the twins would be a completely different type of witch, which would make him curious. His attachment to the twins could be slow, something that develops as he interacts more with them or it could be faster. To be honest, I just want a Dad Kol.
Anyways, Kol probably would be protective over them in terms of Klaus wanting to use them as tools, which would cause some fights. Another thing is the Gemini Coven most definitely exists during the 1800s time and so do siphoners, and the coven is most likely going to come after the twins to capture and raise themselves or to kill because of the whole siphoner hatred they have. (If the writer wanted this could also be done in the 1500s timeline, with the idea that the Gemini curse is already in place and siphoners are a thing. Although, during that time, if siphoners were born, they might be killed).
One thing that could be used as a way to make Klaus warm up to the twins is if some witches either make comments about the twins being abominations (and possibly try to kill them). Also, if he learns that if they turn in to vamps, they become vampire-witch hybrids.
I could see Rebekah adoring them and treating them like daughters. Elijah would probably be strict but become very fond of them.
This story could flow into vampire diaries timeline (with the twins becoming heretics), which could be interesting to play out.
