Summary Of Idea: This is the idea of what if the Mystic Falls Gang (and others) accidentally ends up in the future, in Legacies time period (of season 1 or 2).
The writer can pick what season they want the gang to be from but some ideas are season 1 (because they're so unaware of what's coming and it would be kind of funny to read), season 3-4 (this could have the Mikaelsons involves which could be interesting with Hope), or season 6 (could have Kai or the other parkers, which could be interesting with the twins).
