Summary Of Idea: After a situation leading to the twins' deaths, they get reborn as the youngest Parker siblings of the Gemini Coven. Both of the twins have their memories intact and either wake up as babies or as toddlers.
Because of the twins ability to siphon before they are born, they are the ones to kill mama Parker. And the entire coven is immediately aware that the twins are siphoners.
How this affects the dynamics is up to the writer. Kai will either be aware the twins are siphoners or not have been told.
The twins won't be at the house on the day that Kai snaps and are completely safe. The twins grow up pretty isolated, but with the memories of the past life, they have control over their abilities. And once they reach a certain age they take off.
Eventually the story ends up in season 6 of the vampire diaries and the twins come back into play. If Kai isn't aware of their siphoning heritage before, he now is.
The way this changes things is up to the writer.
