Title Ideas: The Mikaelson Twins; Elijah's Daughters; The Twin of the Noble Original; The Unknown Twins; Elijah's Siphon Twins
Key Characters: Elijah Mikaelson; Lizzie Saltzman (Mikaelson); Josie Saltzman (Mikaelson); Hope Mikaelson; Alaric Saltzman; Caroline Forbes; Kai Parker; Others.
Summary Of Idea: This story starts after season 4 of Originals after Elijah gets his memories taken away. This story involves Elijah finding the young Saltzman twins after something happens in Mystic Falls, where some witches trying to kill the young siphoners (for being abominations) cast a spell wiping everyone's memories of their existence except for themselves and probably Kai seeing as he's in the Prison World.
So everyone forgets about the Gemini's (Caroline, Alaric, etc.) and they end up being taken in by the amnesiac Elijah. This story would eventually land in Original's season 5, then Legacies with the twins being raised by Elijah. Elijah wouldn't die with Klaus because of the twins.
(twins would be around 4 and 5; wouldn't really remember their real parents or say that the memory spell affect them as well)
It's up to the writer to decide when everyone gets their memories back but I suggest in Legacies season 1 or 2. Honestly, season 2 would be interesting because Kai would probably end up being the one that reveals it and they find a way to get their memories back after that.
One thing to note is that Mystic Falls people (Caroline and Alaric) are probably going to be very confused by the existence of Gemini siphon twins. They could honestly end up thinking they are Kai's children possibly. This actually could be really funny because the writer could have Kai realize that no one knows that the Saltzman twins are the Saltzman twins and decide to pretend to be their 'bio-dad' for the fun of it.
Although, a potential problem could be Jo Laughlin when she comes back for that short bit. In the beginning, she didn't remember stuff but eventually did and she would know who the twins are. This could be the moment they learn the truth or could have her memory coming back even slower, so she doesn't realize the truth before she's already gone.
This story would follow Elijah as a dad and the change in the relationship between the twins and Hope.
