Summary Of Idea: When Josie and Lizzie are 4 (or 5), they accidentally go back in time and end up being found and raised by the Gilbert family. For this story, they would follow the Vampire Diaries storyline.
My thought process with the story idea was that they are going to be younger than Jeremy when the show starts, which would make them around 12 or 13.
Or if the writer wants they can be older than him and be 15 or 16. Although, I like the idea of everyone babying them and them showing them up as powerful witches.
Also, if the writer wants they could have been experimenting recklessly with magic using the Gemini Grimoire (which caused them to be sent back in time). If the writer does this, the twins could have their grimoire with them to learn magic, or at least have an understanding of it, by the time the show stops.
Although, theoretically, they should be able to siphon from Elena. Also, if they're not able to use magic as much growing up, they may not be able to learn how to siphon painlessly.
