Lets Do This

We sat snuggled on the couch I looked up into his eyes and smiled, "I missed you."

He lent down and places a soft kiss on my fore head, "I missed you too. I have something to show you," and he got up and left me feeling cold on the couch.
I sat there for at least 5 minuets before he came back.
He came back with a huge box. He came and sat down next to me. He passed me the box, "Open it," he said softly.
I nodded and opened the box. I gasped as I pulled out the hat. It was a bone Akubra rough rider with a classic black hat band and with the horse hair tassels and an embodied part just up under where the brim slightly folds up of horses galloping. It was beautiful, it would have costed him a fortune to get it customised.

I turned to him to say thank you when he spoke, "keep going there is more in there." I turned and looked confused back at the box. I folded back numerous sheets of tissue paper before coming to a pair of beautiful square toed cowgirl boots, the ones I had been looking at for the past two months.
"I can't take this, this would have costed a bomb," I said pointing at the hat and boots.
His face darkened a little, "Look Aud we ain't 14 any more if I wanna buy to soon to be wife a new hat and a nice pair of boots than I will do just that," well that conversation wasn't going any further.

I felt my heart being heavy, I had to tell him. Though it had only been a few hours but it was waiting down on me so bad, "Brooks I need to tell you something," I looked down and twiddled my thumbs.

"And whats that beautiful?" he said brushing a piece of stray
hair out of my face.

Man I love this guy, how could I let this happen? "well when you were gone -" I was cut off.

"You slept with someone else?" he asked looking a little sad.

"Wha? wait no! where did you get that idea from?" I asked.

"I don't know just throwing ideas out there," he said with a shrug.

"Well um... you know Hayley's cousin, Jacob?" I asked wincing at his name.

"Yeah we went to school together, he is really into horses now or something."

"Well it was raining and Hayley suggested that I go over and use his indoor arena," I said looking still looking down.

"He kissed you didn't he?" he asked and I was shocked how did he?

"How did you?" I asked finally looking up.

"I swear that kid was always trying to steel my girls!" he said, I raised my brow.

"It didn't mean anything I swear," I said as he got up shaking in anger, I had never seen him this angry. What could I do, I couldn't loose him now, not after everything.

He ignoring me, "I'm going to go over to his and show him not to touch whats mine."

I was taken back, he would do that for me. Then I realised that it probably wasn't the best thing for him to do. I tried calling him as he walked out the door, but he ignored me. So I did the first thing that came to my mind, I ran. I ran like I was on fire. I ran to him, determined to show him that he was mine and I have no eye for any one else. I ran passed him and stopped. Then I ran again, flinging my little 5ft 2 frame at his huge 6ft 4 frame, and I kissed him. At first I was a little worried cause he didn't kiss me back, but soon he melted into the kiss. Then it started to rain. I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his torso as he deepened the kiss. He broke the kiss and left a small trail of kissed down my neck, I lent back and tiled my head to allow him more access. He finally trailed back up and kissed my lips again, even more passionately. All to soon he broke the kiss and I whimpered.

"You are mine, you are going to marry me and no one else," he said panting.

"I think you've got one thing wrong there mate, your are mine."

The day had come, the wedding. I had Hayley and Sarah come over and we got ready together. My hair and make up was done and yesterday Hayley had taken me to get my nails done, so they were gel nails that were french tipped or what ever Hayley had called them.

Soon it was time for the dresses. My dress was nice, different for a wedding dress but nice, nice well it was nice for a dress I suppose. It was strapless and had cool beed work across the top and went down just above my belly button before going out into kind of like a frilly shirt that was short at the front at long at the back. I put it on with the help of Hayley and Sarah. They both stared in awe.

"Stop staring!" I said, and they turned around and laughed, the proceeded with getting in their own dresses. They wore heals and well I wore those boots that Brooks got me. Soon it was time to go and the Ford Mustang was waiting for us.
We hopped in giggling like children. I looked down at Hayley's very small baby bump and gulped.

She rubbed a reassuring hand across my shoulders, "you ready."
I nodded my head and taking a deep breath.

It was a long drive to the church. It wasn't one of the big ones in town, but one of the old restored one at one of Joes friends place. While the wedding was going there were going to be people setting up for the reception.

I started shaking with nerves. I started hyperventilating. I was so nervous, what if I got my vowels wrong what it. As if sensing my nerves hayley turned to look over me with a knowing look. She smiled comfortingly to me and I tried to return the smile but it probably looked more like a grimace.

The mustang came to a stop outside the church and everyone was already inside and it was dead out side, apart from Joe just standing there at the door waiting for me. Hayley got out of the Mustang first then followed by Sarah, then me.

I stepped out of the mustang and nearly fell over and killed my self. All I could say was that I was glad that I wore boots not heals.

I slowly made my way to the church. Joe stood there at the double wooden doors. He held out his arm and I took it.
"You ready?" he asked.
In answer I looped my arm through his, "Lets do this."
And the music started and I began my walk. The doors opened and I looked down the isle and there stood the Love of my life, Brooks West.
