Already sleeping next to that hell-of-perfect-man in his living quarters.

It's late at night when you start coughing. you slowly begin to get up and reach the beside table, but a certain someone is faster and a glass of water is held in front of your face.

You turn to look at him and you can see the concern shining through his tired, sleepy, ocean blue eyes. his golden brown hair disheveled in a dreamy way from sleep.

"thanks." you smile and reach to take the glass.

When your hands brush, he frowns slightly because of the heat it's radiating and touches your forehead. his frown deepens.

"you're burning up y/n. you should be more careful about yourself, love" he states worriedly and strokes your cheek before standing up, but you stop him, taking his hand.

"Remus, I'm really fine. all i need is a good, nice sleep and in the morning I'll be ok."

He shakes his head slowly and gives you a you-can't-lie-to-me-darling look before gently releasing from your grip and walking out of the room.

You sigh. you know you can be stubborn at times, but he can be even more stubborn than you, especially when it concerns your health.

"he's such a sweetheart" you think. "honey, he's proven it many times already, mind you." the voice inside you states truthfully and you nod knowingly.

After a couple of minutes, Remus returns & places a cold, wet cloth on your forhead. he then gets back in bed & gently pulls you closer to himself while he fixes the pillow and you snuggle to his body, drifiting back to sleep.

Remus, however stays awake to refresh the wet cloth from time to time to keep it cold. Because it warms up too fast from your temperature.

In the morning when you wake up, you finally feel better and your temperature's down. you look towards his side of the bed and find him asleep half-seated with his back against the bed frame.

"he's been taking care of me the whole night!" you realize immediately & feel bad that he couldn't get enough sleep because of that. hopefully, he doesn't have any classes to teach before lunchtime. you slowly pull him down, careful not to wake him up & cover him with the blanket.

You seem hesitant for a few seconds before the voice inside you appears again: "kiss him! "
So you give a light, tender kiss on his lips & whisper quietly "you took care of me all night, so now it's my turn."

Standing up from the bed and dressing up for the day, you decide to sneak to the kitchen on your way and prepare a special-remus-style breakfast for him, including chocolate of course.

With that in your mind, you walk out of his room and pause at the doorframe just to cast one last glance at him.

He moves in his sleep, turning to one side & putting his hand where you've been lying next to him just a few minutes ago, he unconsciously pulls your pillow closer to him.

You can't help the smile on your face & look at him lovingly. he looks so cute, adorable and peaceful all the time.
"oh, he makes me crazier..."
