Part 2

Words: 6407

Let me tell you something! This one shot has a part 3 too. If I wanted to finish it in here, it would have more than 10k words.
So the actual smut and dance ball will be in last part (part 3) but the kissing will happen in this part. Not edited, sorry for typos.
I'll be glad if you spam comments too.

Losing him was blue, like I'd never known...

After that awful day in his class when you conjured your own patronus for the first time, everything took a terrible turn. The castle of your dreams was ruined. You slowly came to realize that you never knew what to do, not before seeing Remus and not even now... after losing him.

And you really felt blue and cold, just like the the coldness that started to grow in his icy blue eyes.

Without Remus in your life, you were lost too.

As simple as that, both of you fell apart from each other. Your uncertainties and his unreadable thoughts began to tarnish the pages of your fairytale, pushing you away by each passing day.

Christmas holidays was a disastrous start for that phase, reaching to the point that you were almost sure of never getting out of that mess. When the classes started again, Remus began to ignore you and act like you never existed, and you had no choice but to do the same to him. What was once an invisible pull that dragged you to each other like magnets, now had become an invisible push, holding you away as much as possible.

Pain was back, harder and more severe than ever.

Weeks of January passed in numbness, snow gradually melted, but you were frozen in the coldness of winter, feeling the ache in your veins as if it was ice that ran through them, not blood.

You had never experienced that level of hopelessness in your life, and thus, you didn't know how to find a solution.

There was no more of his warm hugs, sweet talks, shy eye contacts and reading books together. You didn't sneak out in the middle of the night just to go and see him in his office. You didn't listen to his dreamy voice anymore. He didn't want to hold you in his arms anymore. He didn't want to run his soothing fingers through your hair any more. You missed those conversations and long stares that would make you lose track of time.

And now time was frozen.

Could it get more terrible than that?

But... what was the reason for this iciness that was creeping through the pages of your fairytale? Why did he feel the need to stay away from you instead of talking? Everything was perfectly fine before and just in one day, fire had turned to ice. You had no idea. You hated to write about these days. Blue ink was never your favorite.
