We're flying above the clouds
So beautiful & clear
We're flying above the clouds
I can see happiness from here

This morning, you had found it scribbled over a page in your small diary while you were looking through your old stuff. It belonged to the breathtaking days of second wizarding war.

Those days... Horribly hard ones. Many would tell you there was no place for love in the war, but you weren't the one to really care about what others were saying if it had to limit you and your feelings.

What could you possibly do when Remus was far away in missions and you didn't have him by your side? Making up happy moments and imagining all the things you would do together after the war was the only thing that kept you sane.

It didn't really matter if none of your imaginations didn't come true back then. As long as Remus was there too, you were happy with each of those dreams.

And flying with him was one of the options. You wrote it months ago, not knowing it would actually come true one day...

Sunsets, porch swings, lovely whispers, quiet evenings and... Remus. A perfect fit for a peaceful day with him after so long.

Remus leaned over to cup your cheeks, giving your lips one of those slow and tender kisses that had the flavor of purple cotton candies. With a hue of orange, red and yellow tastes too.

A kiss that tasted like sunset.

Minutes after minutes passed in pure bliss until you had to pull back for air. He left two more kisses on each of your flushed cheeks and guided you to lay your head on his lap.

You hummed delightfully, letting your fingers draw lazy patterns on his thigh as the swing slowly moved back and forth.

The yard was covered with trees from different shapes and heights. Some of them had green leaves and some other were filled with golden and red leaves too, all swaying freely in the wind. You had decided to make it a tradition to never lose the chance of watching sunsets with Remus every weekend.

Just to make up for all the lost times in the past. All the times when you were so careless about this kind of magic that happened in the sky.

There was something about the sunsets that always kept you hooked. There were many many days when life had to keep you and Remus away from each other, whether it was at Hogwarts when he was a teacher or at the rough times leading to the war.

When you watched sunset, you felt that everything would be alright. No matter what both of you would go through, this time of the day never failed to give you the warmth you always sought, the colors you missed, the hope you lost and the faith you needed.
