Hey, comment your opinion on this. It's really important :-)

This is not a one shot, but a familiar topic, related to "Remus x student" relationship.

I need to know how you feel about this. So feel free and say what do you think:

(only if you've ever read at least 1 of those well-written books about Remus. Otherwise, leave it and DO NOT participate.)

First off, do you think this relationship (which most of the times starts at Hogwarts) is illegal or pedophilic? Even when the OC (original character, mostly girl) is of age?

For your knowledge, here's the definition of pedophilia:

And the age of consent in UK is 16:
(though i guess in most of the books here, the OC is 17 and more)

Anyway, it all started when my friend told me to check the stories of this famous Golden Boy writer's Instagram.

I did and found nothing special until this caught my attention:

Do you feel offended by this?

I know, I know everyone has their own opinions and we shouldn't care too much. Especially when the person is not into what we like, but i want to know your thoughts.

I absolutely get that such this relationship isn't totally usual and ok, but i actually believe that it's not pedophilic.

Because like: The OC is of age & doesn't do anything by force, The couple aren't just sexually attracted to each other and most importantly, They end up happily living with each other.

Alose from the GOOD books I've read about Remus as a teacher, none of them have inappropriate content or encourage things like rape or abuse or anything that makes the reader uncomfortable.

Another thing that should be considered is that you NEVER completely understand how it feels to read or write about a ship when you're not into that particular ship and have never read a book about "Remus x student".
For example, I've never read about "Harry x Draco" or "Snape x Hermione" or "Fred x reader"... So it's not my place to rant about it.

My point is, you cannot easily offend those who like a ship that is not your favorite.

This is just a fanfic. As long as it doesn't harm anyone who reads it, it's ok.

And I've never seen any "Remus x student" book that's been forced to be deleted for inappropriate content. It shows.
