Hey everyone! There's only a chapter and my author's note left in this story before it's over. I am, however, writing a sequel! I'll be ironing out the details after Christmas, since before then I will have no time to do so. >.< Anyhow, in the meantime, I hope you all enjoy this! =)

Adrianna sat at her desk, staring aimlessly out the window. Today was the last day she would be in London for about a week, and she was admittedly not ready to leave yet. As excited as the girl was to go to Hollywood with Tom, she still hadn't packed anything. But above all else, the girl was incredibly nervous about going altogether.

Although the paparazzi had been snapping pictures of them for months now, Adrianna was still not sure how she was going to handle it. Tom hadn't exactly announced her to the world yet, and she wasn't sure how the fans were going to take her. Adrianna had never cared about people liking her before; she had always had a carefree, "who cares" outlook on what people thought about her. But Adrianna also knew how paparazzi could be at times; she had heard many a story about celebrities and what happened to them when they weren't exactly friends with their photographers. Surely Adrianna didn't want to get on anyone's bad side at the premiere.

So there she was- delaying packing, and staring out the window as opposed to doing anything that she should've been. They were to be leaving first thing in the morning, and the time was ticking down, leaving Adrianna a very small window for what she had left to do. The girl frowned at the thought. Part of her didn't want to go, and that part was winning the battle right then. Adrianna had pulled out her suitcase, and it still sat empty on the top of her bed.

The girl glanced at the picture frame sitting next to her monitor. Staring back at her was a picture of Tom and herself from about two months ago. Honestly, Adrianna wasn't sure she had been happier than she was now. After everything she had been through- after all the jerky guys, after all the heart breaks- she had probably the single most amazing man on the face of the planet. Adrianna didn't know how she had managed to be that lucky.

Without Tom, Adrianna was fairly sure that her life wouldn't have been as amazing as it had been in recent times. Sure, she had a terrible job, but simply having Tom around was enough for Adrianna to forget the fact that she spent entirely too much time working at a pet store. The boy completed her; he had given her life a purpose again. When Matthias had broken up with her, Adrianna was nearly certain it was going to take a long time to get over him and what had happened. But then Tom showed up and proved her wrong. Quite frankly, Adrianna hadn't fallen for anyone as quickly as she did Tom. Part of that scared her, yet part of it didn't.

"Shouldn't you be packing?" a voice broke her concentration.

Adrianna glanced away from the picture to see Marisa standing in the doorway, her arms folded against her chest. "Um... yea," Adrianna answered. "I'm working on it."

"Oh yes, because your suitcase is so full," Marisa teased, a smile appearing on her face.

"I never said I had gotten far," Adrianna mumbled.

"I thought you were excited about going?" Marisa inquired, moving out of the doorway and sitting on her friend's bed next to the suitcase. "I mean, you got the dress and everything. Why haven't you packed anything at all?"

Adrianna shrugged. "Nervous I guess."

"Why the hell would you be nervous?" Marisa asked. "You show up, stand there and look pretty for a minute, and then you go watch a movie before anyone else. What's so bad about that?"

"Just the paparazzi and crazed fan girls," Adrianna sighed, turning in her chair to face her friend. "I haven't really had to deal with either of them yet, and I guess they're just psyching me out right now."
