Hi guys! FINALLY got this done today. So much has been going on I haven't had much time to write. We got a really bad storm the other night, and the past few days have been spent cleaning up the damage. Not to mention I have gotten little to no sleep since they started working on our roof the other day. Yea... pounding coming from above you at 8 am is NOT fun. Anyhow, hope you like this rather random chapter. Got Tom's response from someone I know. =P

When he decided to come to London, Matthias hadn't expected to be given the runaround. He was thinking it was going to be as easy as his first phone call and he'd have Adrianna back. However, she was proving to be far more stubborn than he could've ever anticipated. She had been avoiding being home, and he was getting sick of being told no.

But today, he decided, would be different. He was going to assure that he got her back from this Tom character. Who did he think he was? Why did Adrianna insist that she wasn't going to leave this guy? Tom couldn't have been any better than he was. There was no way that the two months she had been with him could've been any more special than the whole year and a half they had spent together. He rolled his eyes at the thought of it. This guy honestly had no clue who he was stealing from.

Matthias stared at his cell phone for a moment, silently hoping it would go off. He sighed, throwing himself backwards onto the hotel's bed. This day was so not going the way he had planned. He pushed his brown hair out of his blue eyes. Honestly he couldn't wait to get back home, but for now he was going to tough it out. He was on a mission and he wasn't going to go home until he had what he wanted.

"Dude, are you okay?" Seth's voice interrupted his thoughts. "You've been kind of staring into space."

Matthias was shaken from his trance. "Yea, I'm fine. Just... thinking I guess."

Seth didn't say anything for a few moments as he continued to flip through the channels on the television. "Have you gotten a hold of Dree yet? The whole reason we came here was for you to get her back. What's the hold up?"

"She has a new boyfriend you idiot," Matthias hissed. "And he's so great she doesn't want to leave him."

"Why don't you force her to leave him then?"

Matthias never even thought of that. Why would he want to force Adrianna to leave the guy? Even then she sure wouldn't be happy about being back with him. And surely kidnapping was illegal in any country. "That's just stupid. She has to leave him on her own free will. You can't force a girl into being with you. And I'm not going to take advice on girls from you." He stood, snatching his phone up in the process, and began heading towards the apartment's door.

"Where are you going?" Seth questioned his friend.

"I'm going to call her," Matthias answered, halfway out the door. "What did you think?" With that, he shut himself outside the room, hoping that he would finally get some privacy and be able to make the call without any interruptions. He dialed Adrianna's number one more time, listening to the line ring for several moments before someone answered.

"Hello?" a voice Matthias had never heard before called out. It was surely not Adrianna's voice, and it wasn't any of her friends' either. Perhaps this was his chance to finally tell this Tom guy off.

"Who is this?" Matthias demanded. If it was in fact Tom, he already had his argument ready to go.

"Oh I don't know. Why don't you tell me? After all, you're the one calling me," the voice taunted him.

Matthias took a deep breath, attempting to calm himself. "Well I thought I was calling Adrianna, so I have no idea why you would be answering her phone."

"She's my girlfriend; I think I can answer her phone if some jerk is harassing her."

Matthias tried his hardest not to laugh. So this must be Tom, he thought silently. "I'm not harassing her," he said out loud. "Now give her the phone so I can talk to her."

"I think Adrianna made it very clear that she doesn't want to talk to you anymore," the voice Matthias could only assume was Tom answered. "So please, quit calling her before I have to get the police involved."

"No, Tom, you're going to listen to me," Matthias spat. "Adrianna is mine; she always has been, and she always will be. I have no idea as to why she would choose you over me. You have nothing that I don't. But what I do know is that you will not be in the picture any longer; Adrianna will be mine again. And I don't care if I have to kick your scrawny ass to do so." He paused for a moment, a tad perplexed as to why Tom hadn't interrupted him yet. "You don't know what Dree and I have been through together. In fact, I'm fairly sure you don't even know what love is."

"Okay," Tom said, sounding a tad bored by his argument.

"She's too good for you, and you surely don't deserve to have her. You've changed Adrianna into something she's not. When she was home she would've never went for a guy like you," Matthias ranted. "So it's only a matter of time before she dumps this little phase she's in and get back to seeing a real man."

"Are you done yet?" Tom wondered, his voice calm and collected. He was hardly phased by anything Matthias had said to him.

"No, I'm not-" Matthias started, only to have the phone call ended on him in midsentence. Tom had hung up on him, something that he had not anticipated. How childish did you have to be to hang up on someone without any kind of warning? If Matthias wasn't pissed before, he definitely was now.

He stormed back into his room, Seth still staring blankly at the television. The blond finally noticed Matthias coming back into the room. "Um... are you okay?" he asked.

"That asshole hung up on me!" Matthias exclaimed.

"Since when was that your term of endearment for Dree?" Seth questioned.

"It wasn't Dree," Matthias rolled his eyes. "Her boyfriend answered the phone, hardly said a damn thing, and then hung up on me."

Seth started laughing. He quickly shut up though when he saw the intense glare Matthias was giving him. "I mean... what are you going to do now?"

Matthias shrugged. "What else can I do? The girl has been giving me the runaround since we got here. And now if she has Tom answering her phone, I can't talk to her directly. And I need to do that."

Neither of them spoke for a moment, until a light bulb went off in Seth's head. "Well... why don't you go wait at her apartment? I mean... she'll have to go home eventually."

Now why didn't I think of that? Matthias thought to himself. "Sounds like a plan to me. Guess I'll be back later."

He snatched the car keys off the bedside table before leaving the room once again, this time heading to the parking lot out to their rented car. After sitting inside, he turned on the car and the GPS. Upon typing in Adrianna's address, he was on his way to the apartment. Had he been in Detroit, he would've sped to the house, but while overseas, he was trying his hardest to maintain the speed limit and remain calm. Matthias was known to be a sufferer of road rage, and he was finding it hard to keep his cool right then.

This was the first time he had never met someone and wanted to kill them. Tom- he rolled his eyes at the thought of him. Matthias knew he wasn't the most pleasant guy on planet Earth, but after one phone call he was fairly sure that the title of Biggest Jerk on Earth belonged to Tom. All he had to do was hand the phone to Adrianna, but he chose otherwise, so he left Matthias no choice. Tom had deserved every word of what Matthias said to him.

Matthias finally pulled into the parking lot of the apartment complex. After swiftly parking the car, he made his way into the building, where he quickly found the girl's apartment. He checked the door, only to find it locked. He sighed angrily as he leaned against the wall.

He was going to be there for a while...
