So I got on a roll last night, and I finished a chapter in this story too! So I hope you enjoy it! =)

Adrianna tugged on the final corner of her bedspread. After placing it just right, she stood back to check over her work. Everything was finally clean, at least everything but Marisa's room. Adrianna decided then that it was time to relax as she walked back to the living room.

She sat down on the couch, bracing her head against the cushion. It was already five o'clock. Where had the day gone? She was running out of time to figure out what she was going to do for tomorrow's dinner, let alone tonight's. Adrianna's brain was admittedly fried. It needed a break; she lazily picked up the Xbox 360 controller that was sitting on the nearby end table.

Within moments, she was playing her favorite game Skyrim. A good way to relieve stress, she thought. Plus the only place where she could be a mindless killing machine and no one but the town guards would care. This was the first time she had played any game in at least two weeks, and she was surely in need of it.

"Are you seriously playing that right now?" Marisa asked. "Shouldn't you be cleaning?"

Adrianna had been so engrossed in her game she hadn't noticed her friend sit next to her. "No, my cleaning is all done. Sides, I need to relieve some stress right now, and it's not like I can go kick a soccer ball right now."

Marisa sighed. "I guess you're right." She paused for a moment as she saw Adrianna swing her sword at a guy. "Oh my gosh! Why'd you kill that guy?!"

"Dude, he was trying to kill me!" Adrianna exclaimed. Before she could explain anything else, there was a loud roar on the game. "Great... and now there's a dragon! Ugh!"

"Would you guys shoosh your faces?! I'm ordering dinner!" Valarie shouted from the kitchen.

Adrianna and Marisa glanced at each other, giggling silently. Valarie as funny when she yelled sometimes, especially when it was about food. Adrianna shook her head and resumed her battle with the dragon.

"So I know you're probably sick of talking about it, but I can't believe that you are actually sort of dating Tom Felton," Marisa brought up again. That's almost all she had spoken about since Adrianna had told her.

"I know, it's... kind of hard to believe," Adrianna admitted. "I'm still half expecting cameras to bust in here and tell me this is a joke."

"Do you think he could introduce me to Rupert Grint?" Marisa sighed dreamily. Adrianna saw that coming; Marisa had always loved Rupert Grint, possibly as much as Adrianna had adored Tom Felton.

She shrugged as she shot the final arrow at the dragon, killing it. "I can ask him about it tomorrow. He should be calling here soon."

"He's going to call you?" she asked.

Adrianna nodded. "Yea, before his interview tonight, least that's what he said. I would imagine here soon."

"That's great!" Marisa smiled. "I bet you enjoy it."

"I do," Adrianna agreed. "He actually communicates with me, and we're not even together."

"Dree, that's great! I mean... I know Matthias didn't talk to you and you hated it," Marisa went on. "And right now, I know you're all excited about that phone call."

Adrianna smiled. "Yea, just a bit."

Marisa's big blue eyes looked at her anxiously. Adrianna was beginning to wonder if Marisa was more excited about it than she was. Adrianna had never seen Marisa so happy for her; but it was great knowing that she was supporting her. Out of the corner of her eye, Adrianna saw Valarie sit down on the other side of her.

"Ordered Chinese food. Got the usuals for us," she finally said. "Hope you guys don't mind."

"Not at all."

Adrianna went back to Skyrim, and she was glad she did; a group of bandits had decided to attack her. She handled them with ease and went on her way. However, she didn't get far before her phone rang. As soon as she put it to her ear, she had Val and Marisa both craning their necks to try to hear what was being said.

"Hey," she greeted.

"Well good evening beautiful. I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" Tom greeted.

"Nah," Adrianna answered, still playing her game as she spoke. "Just finished cleaning the house, and now I'm waiting on dinner."

"Dinner, huh? Sounds pretty good right about now," he sighed. "What are you having?"

"Well, Valarie ordered Chinese food, so I'm going to guess shrimp fried rice," Adrianna explained. "Have you not eaten yet?"

"Not since lunch time, but hopefully here soon," Tom answered. "I hate days like this. I just get so busy I don't get the chance to sit down and enjoy a meal."

Adrianna frowned. "Hopefully that'll change soon. Oh! And by the way, err... how does vegetable pizza sound for tomorrow?" For whatever reason, a recipe her mom used to make when she was younger popped out in her head at that time. Adrianna remembered when her mother made it the first time, and how unappetizing it sounded. That was, at least until Adrianna tried it.

"That sounds great! Which reminds me, what time did you want me to come over?" he asked.

"Hmmm... it doesn't matter. Early afternoon perhaps?"

"About three?"

"That works!" Adrianna replied, just as she finished picking a lock on the game. "I dunno what we can do while you're here; I mean... my apartment is pretty boring."

"We'll find something to do; don't worry! I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun," Tom assured.

Adrianna laughed nervously. "I sure hope so."

"Well darling, it's almost time for my interview, so I should probably get a move on," Tom actually sounded sad to have to go. "You going to be busy later?"

"Nope, just going to be sitting here playing video games," Adrianna stated. "That and trying to keep Valarie and Marisa out of my business." With that, Val and Marisa moved away from Adrianna, giving her some space.

"Your friends eavesdropping?" he laughed.

"As always!" Adrianna sighed.

Tom laughed. "Mine do the same thing."

"Must be a friend thing!"

"It's got to be," he agreed. "But anyways... I'll call you back in a few hours mmkay?"

"Sounds good to me," Adrianna smiled. "Talk to you soon?"

"Mmhm. Enjoy your dinner for me! Bye Adrianna."

"I will Tom. Bye for now." Adrianna hung up her phone, tossing it onto her lap. She looked at her friends before saying, "You guys are nosy! Gosh!"

Val and Marisa both had big goofy smiles on their faces. "You guys are too effing cute," Marisa stated. "Like seriously!"

Adrianna paused her game, feeling her face turning bright red. "Shoosh. And by the way, I am kicking you guys out tomorrow before he gets here."

"And where are we going to go?" Valarie questioned.

"Well, either to your house, or your sister's," Adrianna stated. "And I'm leaning on your sister's. I know she will be able to keep you there instead of yet again spying on me."

Marisa looked at Valarie. "First of all, you spied on her? Secondly, if your sister is anything like you this could end badly."

"Oh yea! She spied on me and Tom at Olive Garden," Adrianna answered for her. "And her sister is fine. She lives on the other side of town and she dates some singer guy."

"It totally works for me!" Marisa exclaimed. "Do I at least get to meet him?"

Adrianna gave her friend a stern look, but then winked. "We'll just have to see."
