So sorry for not uploading sooner!! It's been a crazy week. It was my mom's birthday today, so we spent all day with her. On top of that, it was finals week for me, so I was stressed out, and my cat is acting like she wants to die on me... but enough about my life...

A few weeks ago, I was listening to some songs from my childhood, and this song came up and I've had it buzzing in my head ever since. It fits so perfectly with this chapter I couldn't resist!! I hope you'll find it fitting too! =)

Pic on the side is random, but it pertains to the story. Some of you might be able to figure it out. ;)

Hope you all enjoy!! =)

Tom stood in the bathroom, combing out his hair after he showered. He was getting ready to hang out with the guys that afternoon. He hadn't seen them in a while due to interviews, and more importantly Adrianna. Tom smiled at the thought. The girl had been on his mind non-stop since the night at the club. There was just something about her that captivated him.

He glanced at his phone, checking the time. 2:53. He had roughly half an hour to finish getting ready and meet up with Rupert and Matt. They were surely going to bombard him with questions as to why he hadn't been spending as much time with them as he used to. Tom wondered how they would take him having a new girl in his life. Especially one like Adrianna.

Tom was shaken from his thoughts by a dog barking. Oops. He had almost forgotten that he had let Timber, his Chesapeake Bay Retriever, into the yard. He rushed to the sliding glass door where he was greeted by a wagging tail. He smiled as he let her into the house.

"Sorry girl," he apologized. "Kinda got distracted." The dog sat at his feet, looking up at him with big brown eyes. "You going to watch the house while I'm gone, Timber?"

The dog barked in response. Tom patted her head before he walked back into the living room, snatching his car keys off the coffee table. On that note, he began his journey to the restaurant he was going to meet Rupert and Matt at. It was only a few minute drive from his home, and his friends had already beat him there. Tom found them sitting at a table towards the back of the restaurant, both already digging into some appetizer.

"Bout time you got here!" a red-haired boy shouted at him between bites of food.

Tom took a seat in front of them, smirking. "Oh Rupert, relax. I made here on time. You told me 3:30. It's 3:24."

The other boy laughed. "So what's new with you Tom? Haven't heard much from you recently!"

"Well Matt... funny you should ask about that," Tom stated. "I met this girl on Friday night, and I've been spending a lot of time with her the past few days."

Rupert spit out his pop he had been drinking. "Tell me you're joking Tom. A girl? You just broke up with what's-her-face!"

"That was over a month ago!" Tom interjected. "And besides... she's so much better than Jade. I promise."

"Well... that's great, Tom," Matt went on. "What's her name?"

Tom smiled. "Adrianna."

"What she look like?" Rupert jumped back in, suddenly losing interest in his food.

"Wish I had a picture; no words can really describe her perfectly," Tom sighed, leaning back in his chair. "She has these big brown eyes and this long brown hair..." Tom caught himself rambling. "At any rate, she's really pretty... gorgeous actually."

"Sounds lovely," Matt added.

"She got any friends?!" Rupert exclaimed, causing about half of the restaurant's occupants to look over at them.

Tom resisted the urge to roll his eyes. "I only know of two of them who moved over here with her. And actually one of them likes you a lot Rup."

Rupert's mouth dropped, hanging open for several moments before he spoke again. "You being serious Tom?"

"Yea, I am. She mentioned it on our first date," Tom admitted.

Matt shook his head. "We'll worry about her friends later. But what did you say about her moving?"

"Well, she moved over here from America with a few of her friends," Tom explained. "They haven't been here too long; maybe about two months or so. I'm honestly surprised I didn't bump into her sooner."

"America, huh? I bet it's a lot different than here," Rupert muttered. "How's she liking it here so far?"

"I think she likes it," Tom answered a little unsurely. He had never really asked her how she was liking London so far, but he figured it was safe to assume she was enjoying it, especially as of late.

"Well, that's good. Hopefully she'll stick around," Matt replied, though he raised his eyebrow before he added, "Especially since she seems to be different than every other girl you've brought to us."

"She is!" Tom exclaimed. He sighed. "I mean... she likes me for me. Not once has she asked about money, or presents, or anything like that. I mean... I took her to a park for goodness sakes and she was perfectly okay with that! If I would've taken Jade to the park she would've pitched a fit! Adrianna is really, well... cool."

"So if she's okay with going to a park on a date, what else does she like to do?" Matt inquired.

"She likes sports, and writing, and video games, and she can cook! She made me this vegetable pizza last night that was to die for!" Tom rambled on again as the waiter dropped some food off on the table.

"Sounds like you're smitten," Rupert smirked. "You really like her then?"

"Well yea; I thought that was obvious."

"Is she your girlfriend?" Matt asked.

"Well... not yet," Tom muttered quietly. "We both just got out of relationships, so we don't want to rush anything. But I hope one day she is."

"Awwwww," Rupert and Matt chorused.

Tom felt himself turning pink. It had been a while since Rupert and Matt had actually teased him about a girl. They didn't do it with Jade; neither one of them had been the fondest of her. To see them acting like this was very reassuring to him. "Oh shut up," he eventually muttered.

"So when do we get to meet her?" Rupert asked.

"Err... I dunno. I can ask her when she's open, and we can figure it out," Tom answered his friend. "I think it would be a blast!" Before his friends could respond to him, he decided to change the subject; he kind of felt uncomfortable talking about his love life in public. "So what's new with you guys?"

"Well...." Rupert began, but Tom found his thoughts drifting. He couldn't focus on anything his friends were saying. He was too busy picturing her in his mind. As pathetic as it sounded, Tom found himself drawn to her already, for more than one reason...

For once he was certain of one fact: a girl sincerely liked him for who he was. Not because he was an actor, not because he had money, not because he had talent. She liked the real him, the down-to-earth, laid back, romantic him. Maybe Rupert was right; maybe he was smitten with Adrianna. And he was perfectly okay with that.
