Hey guys! Just thought I would post something real quick before I headed off to bed. =) Hopefully this isn't crap. >.<

Adrianna shut the door to the apartment before practically falling against the wall. The girl let out a scream of joy. She hadn't stopped smiling since she had left Tom's house. She couldn't believe what had just happened to her. Adrianna was overwhelmed with delight.
Within moments, both her friends were in the room, both alert from the scream Adrianna had let out. Adrianna looked up at both of them with questioning eyes. "Before you ask, I'm fine," she explained.
"Then why did you scream?" Val asked, suspiciously.
A huge smile stretched across Adrianna's face as she looked at the ground. She felt her face turn pink again. "Tom asked me to be his girlfriend," she said.
Marisa let out a scream of her own. "Oh my gosh! What did you say?!"
Adrianna stood up, giving her friend a confused look. "What did I say? I think all three of us know what I said."
"No?" Valarie joked.
Adrianna gave her friend a serious look. "I said yes!"
"So how did that come about?" Marisa inquired.
"You might want to sit down for this one," the girl admitted. Adrianna started walking towards the living room where she took a seat on the couch. Once her friends took their seats, Adrianna began to explain how it all happened. "Well, you remember how he said we had plans?"
"Yeaaaa," Valarie drawled.
"So we went to his house, which is beautiful by the way, and he made me close my eyes. When I opened them I was sitting under a candlelit gazebo, and then soon after that he asked me," Adrianna explained.
"Awwwww," Marisa replied. "So now you guys are official?"
Adrianna nodded, a huge smile on her face. "Yea, I suppose so."
The girl's friends exchanged glances for a moment. "So what is this going to mean?" Val asked. "I mean... now that it is official, you're going to be thrown into the limelight too. And what's going to happen when he has to leave to shoot a movie for a few months?"
Adrianna sighed. She knew Valarie was going to make a bigger deal out of it than it needed to be. She was good for that. "It'll be fine. I can handle it; I'm sure I've dealt with worse things than paparazzi. And as for his leaving, that'll be fine too. It's his job; I can't stop him from working and I won't."
It seemed as if Valarie didn't buy that answer since she got up from the couch and went to stand outside on the balcony, shutting the door tightly behind her. Adrianna looked at her confused for a moment before turning to Marisa.
"What the hell is her problem?" she asked.
Marisa rolled her eyes. "She's been fighting with Seth," she sighed. "Again."
"What about this time?" Adrianna asked, even though she could already figure out what it was about. Valarie's boyfriend, Seth, was very similar to Matthias. She was sure it was over something stupid.
"Oh cause she was hanging out with all of us, and there were guys there," Marisa rolled her eyes again. "You know... just being a controlling ass like always."
"And let me guess, they argued on the phone for about an hour about nothing that really mattered, and they almost broke up," Adrianna guessed. She had seen this happen before, so she could only assume it was about the same this time.
"Oh how did you guess?" Marisa replied sarcastically. "It's only what happens every time he finds out something he doesn't like."
"They won't last much longer," Adrianna predicted, sighing in the process. "They're always fighting over petty ridiculous things."
"Right," Marisa muttered quietly. "You know... I'm really glad you're not with Matthias anymore. He was the same way. If I didn't know any better I would swear he and Seth are related."
Adrianna didn't say anything for a moment. "You're right. He was terrible. I'm just hoping Valarie realizes he's stupid before things get out of hand. There are so many other people she could be with."
"Like Matt," Marisa added.
That caught Adrianna off guard for a moment. She was glad she wasn't the only one who had been thinking. "You think so too?"
"Well yea! They looked super cute together! I mean... as cute as they could be with being the awkward ones in the group," Marisa agreed.
"They were only awkward cuz we were off with Tom and Rupert," Adrianna pointed out. "I think that under different circumstances they wouldn't be so awkward. And speaking of cute together, let's talk about you and Rupert."
Marisa's face went about five shades redder than normal. "What about us?"
"You know he seriously asked me how much of a chance he has with you," Adrianna went on.
"You're joking right?" the girl asked her.
Adrianna shook her head. "No, he asked. And I told him that there was probably a good chance seeing as you've liked him for as long as I can remember."
"And what did he say?" Marisa wanted to know. A huge smile was on her face now, and she was sitting on the edge of her seat in anticipation.
"Well... he did a fist pump, screamed yes, and then about got us in an accident in the process," Adrianna laughed, recalling the event clearly.
Her friend shrieked with happiness. "So do you think I should pursue this?" she asked after she settled down a bit.
"That's entirely up to you," Adrianna answered. "He seems nice enough, and if it'll make you happy I say go for it. What do you have to lose?"
"Thanks for your support," Marisa smiled. "It's great to know you have my back."
"You're welcome; it's what friends are for," Adrianna said back. "Besides, I'm sure if he gets stupid Tom will take care of him too."
"I almost forgot about that," Marisa admitted, and then she thought about something. "Oh my gosh! We could go on double dates!"
Both girls jumped from their seats and started bouncing around the living room, giggling excitedly. "That would be awesome!" Adrianna smiled, completely ecstatic with the idea of double dating. "Can you imagine all the trouble we could into with those two?"
"That's where the fun would be!" Marisa pointed out.
"True," Adrianna replied. She was going to say something else, but her attention drifted from her conversation and back onto her depressed friend outside. It was all too obvious that Valarie was upset about what had happened. Adrianna was hoping that once everything calmed down with her relationship that Valarie would be open and accepting of her new relationship with Tom. But Adrianna knew that was something that only time would be able to tell her...
