𝖈𝖍𝖆𝖕𝖙𝖊𝖗 𝖨𝖨

Up on the deck of Leo's Argo II, stood a fifteen-year-old girl. The wind swept through her hair, which was dark as night and shone in the pale moonlight. Her obsidian dark eyes focused on the ship in the distance, there was a distinct sound of footsteps and the girl whipped out her dagger.

The boy staggered backward, his black hair shining like the friend's and his sea green eyes filled with amusement, even though there was a dagger at his throat. Percy grinned toothily at the girl holding the dagger and her eyes widened in realization.

Reyna lowered her weapon and sighed in relief. Sheathing her knife, she resumed her position near the railing and continued to stare out at the open ocean.

"Get some sleep, I'll take watch." Percy offered, but Reyna only shook her head. She admired Percy's concern for her, and she loved him for it. Percy had been like a brother to her growing up, their relationship was a unique one considering Percy's best friend was Reyna's cousin Annabeth and Reyna's best friend was Percy's cousin, Jason.

"Look at that." She said, as Percy moved to stand beside her. Reyna pointed toward the black ship in the distance, sailing toward the nearby town of Themiscyra.

"What do you think captain?" Another voice said from behind as the blue-eyed boy walked over to Reyna's right. Reyna still wondered why she was the captain of the crew, Percy was the logical choice. He had the most knowledge about the sea, and he was the prince of the waters of the continent.

"I think, Jason, that is a pirate ship. " Reyna replied. "One that won't hesitate to blow us up the moment they see us." She was still puzzled as to why she was approached for the position as captain, not Annabeth or Jason.

Annabeth was a genius, not that Reyna would ever tell her cousin that, the girl knew almost everything. Clearly that qualified for something.

Jason was well ... Jason. The boy was built up to a decent height of 6'2, he was muscular and had the abilities of a true leader. He was the biggest royal here after all, the son of Zeus. The person to rule after his father retired, yet they all had expected Reyna to become captain.

"Get Leo to set the sails away from the island , tell Annabeth I need her on the wheel now. Tell your girlfriend it's her watch after Annabeth, Jason." Reyna ordered, both Percy and Jason nodded and set off below deck to wake the others.

It's a small chapter, forgive me, the others will be longer.
