The night fell quickly, it was almost around midnight when Beckendorf unlocked the door and slid three swords into the dark room.

"Bee." Percy whispered and gently shifted his legs, so that Bianca, who had her head in his lap, would wake up.

Bianca slowly got up, rubbed her eyes, and looked around, taking in the surroundings. A habit Hazel had too, Percy's heart ached to meet his friends. No, his family, again.

His heart ached to squeeze the air out of Jason with a bear hug, it ached to fist bump Leo after the two pulled an insane prank together.

It ached to see the smile on Piper's face when he would ask her for girl advice.

It ached to ride on Frank's back.

It ached to hold Hazel's hand and comfort her when she missed her family.

It ached for Reyna, to promise her he would always be there for her, regardless of Hell and her ridiculous marriage rules, Reyna was asexual, but it had been their mothers dying wish that one of her two daughters must be married. And Hell decided to squiggle out of it like a coward. ( AN/ just go with it)

But most of all, it ached for her. Seeing her smile light up the day again, hearing her say the words' seaweed brain to him, folding her in his arms and holding her against him tightly, the feel of her lips against his. Don't cry, Percy told himself, he would get back to his family and take Rachel and Bianca with him.

"Kelp Head, let's go." Bianca said. Percy saw both of the girls holster their weapons in their belt loops, and he did the same.

"Rachel, since you know most about the ship, lead the way." Percy said, barely whispering. "Bee, stay close. You and I do the fighting."

Bianca nodded in understanding as Bettendorf slowly let open the door, and they crept inside.

"Thanks." Percy murmured as he exited the room and was hit with a gust of wind.

"Just make sure Castellan isn't sitting on the throne, because if he does become king, shit will get real." Bettendorf warned, his dark skin glinting in the pale moonlight.

"You got it." Percy replied as he unsheathed his own blade. It was heavier than Riptide, Percy's own sword. He missed that too, it was still lying somewhere in his room back on the Argo II, sometimes he wished that sword would magically reappear in his pocket.

They began following Rachel to the boats tied to the large black ship.

"Percy." Bianca interrupted his chain of thought, she was wearing a worried expression as she caught Percy's eye and nodded away from the direction they were walking in.

Percy concentrated for a few seconds and then heard it. Hushed whispers and a vague sound of footsteps could be heard as the three comrades exchanged an uneasy look.

"Rach-", Bianca stared, but her words were left incomplete as a spear was shot straight toward the young princess. Thankfully, Percy wrapped his arms around her waist and yanked her back before she could be impaled. Bianca yelled loudly as the spear flew past her and got stuck in the wood behind them, the pirate who had shot grunted in frustration and ran after Rachel, Percy and Bianca.

"We're improvising." Rachel said as the three climbed up the stairs with at least seven to eight guards at their feet. "You and Bianca get on the boat, I cut the ropes off." She said as she helped Percy on deck. Percy only nodded as they bolted toward the side where a small canoe was hanging off ropes tied to a wooden handle.

"Get in!" Percy screamed.

"That's not the plan kelp for brains." Bianca glared at him, one that almost made him not do what he was about to.

"They're too many of them. Go, I'll get rid of them, please, just go." Percy said, pleading with the stubborn green and brown eyes staring at him.

"Were not leaving you. Understood?" Bianca said in a fierce voice, one that made Percy want to shrink down to his knees.

"Your funeral." A voice said from behind, Percy turned from where he was untying ropes to free the boat. The stars made her blue eyes shimmer as she scowled at Percy, Rachel and Bianca.

"I'm not letting you stop me, Percy." Thalia said his name with lemon in her voice. "You are not leaving this ship without the permission of the Captain."

"Well, Captain. Watch me." Percy said satirically. He didn't expect it of Thalia but well, sometimes things you don't expect happen.

Thalia threw her dagger at Percy's injured hand, he tried to move it away, he really did. The knife proved to be too fast, the Dark Steed yelled in pain just as the blade pinned his left hand to the side of the ship.

"Percy! Are you hurt?" Rachel yelled,, but he held up his hand to stop the advancing girl. Instead of being smart about it, Percy grabbed the hilt of the dagger.

Blank shock crossed Thalia's face for a moment as Percy pulled out the knife. Ignoring the pain and blood, he grabbed Bianca by the elbow, launched her overboard.

Bianca screamed and landed in the canoe with a thud as Thalia let out a screech of her own.

"What?!" Thalia screamed, "You killed your family. You fool, she can't swim!" Percy looked to see tears brimming in Thalia's eyes, and he immediately knew why she'd kept Bianca alive all these years.

"Pinecone Face," Thalia winced at the nickname, "You don't have to do this -"

An arrow came flying from the top deck and missed Rachel by an inch. She staggered backwards and Percy took the opportunity, dumping her into the canoe where Bianca was yelling curses at him.

"You fu-" Bianca started, but her voice became muffled, and Percy smiled at Rachel who had clamped her hand over his cousins mouth. Noticing his grin though, Rachel sent a steely glare his way.

He was wasting time, Percy turned, that was a mistake. Octavian unleashed an arrow just as Luke came charging toward him.

The arrow hit Percy's arm and Luke's leg collided with his nose only a second after the impact. Yellow spots danced in front of Percy's eyes, poisoned arrow, and the last thing he was aware of was toppling over the side of the ship and hitting his head on the side of the canoe.
